wrong guy tho...if i were the Rays, i rather trade Shields than Hellickson...just my opinion

I agree with you 150%, but I think they're both "A" potential guys and maybe they feel like they could get more for Hellickson than for Shields.

which u can but a playoff-caliber team would want a sure thing in Shields rather than a kid in Hellickson

I raked with him in The Show 11 and hit for a high average.

I'd give him a shot if you can get him to sign relatively cheap and you can spare a spot on the 40-man roster.

I'm 18-26 in my Nats chise. I lI've everything about my team except the SS, 2B, and 1B. Was wondering what you guys thought of this trade..

Anthony Rendon 3B A potential
Espinosa 2B

Athletics Trade:
Jemile Weeks

You're overpaying. Rendon is also a valuable for you if you keep in mind that Zimmerman is injury prone.

How about targeting Gordon Beckham? He's pretty much worn out his welcome in Chicago and could play both 2B or SS for you.

I could see that because it would give them a future 3B or 2B and Espinosa too so ya that and I'd probably add in Frietas the Catcher.

Currently sitting 26-10 (best in MLB) with my dodgers.

The Rays put Hellickson on the trade block looking for a catcher. I offered them Chad billingsly, and a b prospect catcher since I traded for Conger earlier in the season. I free'd up about 7 mil after getting rid of Billingsley. Do you think this was a good move? Hellickson will become my 2nd starter behind Kershaw.

They've put him on the trade block in every one of my franchises as well. I think it's because they have a plethora of starting pitchers and their catchers are not very good, they try and take a position of strength and and trade it for a position of weakness. It's actually not the dumbest thing I've seen the cpu do on a franchice.

D'Arnaud never seems to produce for me, but if he has for you, take this deal and run with it as FAST AS YOU CAN. You might have a problem with Hechavarria and Escobar blocking Dozier/Michael. But I guess you could trade a few of them later. Just Sano males the deal worth it, if you can convert him or Lawrie.

But, you know, if you like realism.... god no lol. Heck, if you even like fairness, then don't do it haha.

I dont know the Jays that well and have just started with them. What should I be looking to upgrade? They seem pretty solid in the lineup and have a lot of good prospects.

Looking at them on paper they should be a seriously good team in the near future.

Only thing I feel needs a serious upgrade is pitching. Who would be a realistic starter to go for?

They have some really good depth pitching wise but it's a lot of young inexperienced arms. I'd try go for an established lefty like John Danks to pair up with Ricky Romero as a second lefty in the rotation.

If you're getting pitching, try to get an old guy who's still somewhat good. The jays have a zillion young pitching prospects. Maybe go for Johan Santana? Chris Carpenter? Also, I'd upgrade first base, and try to get a good second base prospect. Maybe Spangeberg (I think that's his name) from the Padres?

If the Marlins are out of contention you could trade for Josh Johnson and give them one of your catchers and another B prospect. Another pitcher you might want to go after is Garza, you'd have to give up a couple prospects though.
