I honestly don't know much about De La Rosa, but he's rated as a stud. Is he a legit 1-2 guy?

If approximate ERA's aren't enough to get an opinion, I'll post back tonight when I get home with more accurate and detailed information.

So, Nofatgirlz, if late July is too late, when would you make a deal like this? Now? I feel like June 12th is too early. Maybe not.
De La Rosa is a solid 3.June 12th isn't too early, especially if you are the Yanks.Plus Mike Piazza was traded in May.

What pitcher would be a good trade for Mike Morse? Morse is having a great year 60 games in but I want one more arm.

Well do you think Morse is worthy of a teams ace? Or a number 2 or 3?

Liriano would probably be a good trade on the game, I know he's god awful in real life this season. However on the video game, thats a pretty good deal both ways. You could prolly take a mid-level prospect with him as well.

De La Rosa is my best choice then (above Peavy and Volquez)?

Ok. Hit me. What'll it cost?

I have an A and B SS, an A 1B, a B RF, and two B SP's that I'm willing to deal. Not to mention the real SCEA prospects (Betances, Nunez, Romine, Laird, R. Pena, etc).

Banuelos and Pineda are hands off.

yes i'd deal for DeLaRosa before Peavy and Volquez since he's pitching the best so far.....he's not worth an *A* so i'd go with the *B* SS and a *B* SP....really wished the 1B was a B since Helton aint gettin any younger....Rockies wouldn't want Nunez, Romine, Laird or Pena

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing on the first baseman.

I really don't need him right now with Tex locked up. This generated kid has some pop and is almost MLB ready.

I was hoping to deal him for a top teir ace, but agree with you that he's a little steep for only De La Rosa...

If I land and like De La Rosa, and try to resign him; if De La Rosa doesn't return or if I don't want him back, I'll probably deal the A 1B in the offseason for a guy to pitch alongside CC (since I probably won't resign Kuroda).

                          Thanks.

at least u know u have a nice trading chip in the offseason if things dont work out with DeLaRosa.....if DeLaRosa can stay healthy and pitch to a high 3-low 4 ERA, he should be looked at as a success in the AL and specifically the AL East

I asked this previously but just got to the trade deadline and need the opinion again:

I'm the Brewers and I lead the entire majors in wins by a few games. The Astros are in my division and are in last place in wins in the majors.

Thinking about bringing Carlos Lee back to Miller Town as a solid right bat off the bench.

What would it take to get him with those circumstances?

And is there anyone else anybody could suggest? I really would also like a right handed utility player with some pop.

Milwaukee was the first team i mentioned Lee being traded to in my Astros franchise so i love that idea...my only gripe is u using him as a utility player....if he's doing well, why would he wanna be a bench guy? if he's underperforming, why would u want him?...that's just me...as far as other options goes, what other teams are out of contention?
