I agree and I doubt I will do it. I wanted to post about it anyway. I just dont get the games trade logic, they honestly will not take my 22 A pot SP, for Jackon either. Just K-ROD.

There has to be a better option for you out there. Unless again Jackson is sporting 5+ ERA and the Nats are looking to promote from within.

Then, he might be a worthy investment. But...

Just curious, what other teams are out of it?

I hate being realistic only to see the ****ing Yankees get better because of an unrealistic trade.

The Yanks receive Profar for Rafael Soriano, straight up. That blows as a Red Sox fan.

Agree, SCEA doesn't. As a Jays fan, I hope we move him to the bench, first or wherever he can play without benching Encarnacion. But since he is an *A*, it'd be fair.

I really don't need him right now with Tex locked up. This generated kid has some pop and is almost MLB ready.<br />

If I land and like De La Rosa, and try to resign him; if De La Rosa doesn't return or if I don't want him back, I'll probably deal the A 1B in the offseason for a guy to pitch alongside CC (since I probably won't resign Kuroda).<br />

Well, if you do trade your A 1B, remember that Cliff Lee got traded for Justin Smoak, so there's precedent. However, if he's got some pop, he could maybe shift to 3rd to replace A-Rod (expect him to retire after the first year) or if he can't field, stick him at at DH. Good luck.

Really looking to dump Burnett since I really don't see him in my future plans with Pittsburgh. What or who is something reasonable to expect in return?

it wouldn't be realistic but depending on the prospects involved, u can give it a shot....just dont think Burnett is enough of a piece to sweeten the deal

Yeah I mean at this point I really just am willing to get whatever for him beacause he's pretty expensive for his age and ability. So 2 C's would be great, but I always try to squeeze out as muchas I can haha

i understand....if he has a ludicrous contract in the game, then anything more then 2 C's would be unrealistic not to mention unfair for the team that's taking him on

I mean, about 4.5 million a year for this year and next. I just don't feel like he's worth it and I want to try and give him to a win now team. Maybe the Phillies.
