Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What do you guys think about this offer... It is early in the season so I'll probably wait to do it for a little more realism effect. 2014 season with my astros chise
Joba Chamberlain (28 years old, B rated, B potential)
for
Dave Kreuger CP (I believe he was a first year player draft guy.. 24 years old, B prospect)
Brett Wallace 3B (27 years old, C rated, B potential)
Yankees are looking for a closer and 3rd baseman. Currently they have Josh Donaldson at third (eduardo nunez backing him up) with no prospects of note. Closer is Valverde (35 years old).Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm about a month into my Pirates franchise, and I'm looking for a good young 2nd baseman and possibly another pitcher or two. My roster is unchanged as of right now and I am using Knight's rosters. Any ideas on who I should go after and who to give up?Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I can't help but laugh at this.
I recommended Murphy in a previous post of mine to a guy looking to bolster his infield, and I was swiftly scoffed at. LOL!
Not by you, Nofatgirlz. By the way.
It's funny how people view things in totally different lights in this thread. And I mean that in a good way. It keeps things balanced. Just saying...Comment

I hit the ball hard with Walker, it just never seems to drop. As far as Murphy goes, I have played with him before and he is a very good player, however I'm looking more for a prospect rather than a current MLB guy if that makes sense.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
2B is the weakest position for prospects in baseball but maybe you could go for Spangenberg. Other guys that are not as realistic include Ackley, Kipnis, BeckhamComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You would be better off looking for a Shortstop prospect and converting him, not many good 2B prospects out there."I'm just gonna go out there, and call the Yankees my daddy" - Pedro Martinez

Celtics
Patriots

After giving Adam Lind a few extra games, it is clear his time in Toronto is up.Before making a trade to get a 1B, I'm gonna try Edwin Encarnacion at 1st and Vladimir at DH for a few games just to keep my options open.
With that said, I want to trade Lind and get him a fresh start somewhere.I know I'd be selling while his value is low so I was thinking of getting back a struggling reliever or a C prospect.Thoughts?
