No the contract length doesn't matter really. I don't plan on getting any further than the 2013-2014 season with this franchise anyway because I'm going to play a lot more games in that season. I will check on Lindstrom, Gregg, and Johnson. I didn't get a chance to play last night.

        Is this fair?
        I'm the mets.
Blues jays: J.P Arencibia and Henderson Alvarez
Mets: Josh Thole, Zach Wheeler and Pedro Beato?

No, I'd swap Beato for higher rated prospect...or maybe Bobby Parnell who has some nice upside

I think it's fair. Thole and Beaton for Arencibia and Wheeler for Alvarez! Looks good to me, but definitely get some of the other openings on here! Wishing you luck in franchise man!

Edit: I don't really know anything about Beato, so definitely listen to Totte!

That's how I broke it down as well. I like the idea of the Jays getting some bullpen depth in return (Beato) but I just feel like Beato would be sent directly AAA. Parnell on the other hand would stick in the majors and it's that kind of arm Anthopoulos (sp?) would look to acquire

No. Jays don't need Thole, would want someone better than Beato, and aren't trading either of these guys right now (if you're looking for realism.)

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

This is what I did think to :/ which is why I asked on here, I just really need a catcher with some pop with the bat

Only prospects of value are Familia, Meija, Wheeler and what's that name of that other pitcher...Murphy?

That's why I liked Parnell instead of Beato. Higher potential and has more major league experience. Can impact the Jays pen right away

So you're looking for a starting catcher with some pop that's younger and could play for your team the next years? Not just a stopgap like Olivo, Barajas or Hernandez?

Nick Hundley of the Padres comes to mind. Not a real power threat but moving out of Petco might help his numbers a bit
