Looking at the Jays, their #8 and #10 prospects are Carlos Perez and Asher Wojciechowski, you think they'd accept that?

I'm the Mariners and I'm looking to trade Felix Hernandez since I won't be contending for the rest of his contract and I think I could get a big haul.
The Diamondbacks are .5 games out at the trade deadline and could use another pitcher so I thought of this trade:

        Felix Hernandez to the Diamondbacks
Trevor Bauer (A) and Archie Bradley (A) to the Mariners

I'm kind of basing it off of the Ubaldo Jimenez trade from last year where the Indians gave up two A potential pitchers as well. Do you think this is a fair trade? If not, what should I add/take away?

Keep in mind, that in 2010, the Yankees called on him. The M's wish list was something like Nunez, Hughes, Nova, Gardiner, Betances, Banuelos, and Montero. So I think you can get more than two A's.

Ubaldo doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Felix....if ur going for JUST fairness, u shudd add another A prospect....if ur going for realism, there's no chance the Snakes are trading either of those two guys

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

                I'm the Orioles.

Thru 36 games, Jim Johnson has blown 4 out of 15 save chances, has an ERA of just under 8 and a batting average against of .321

I simply cannot pitch with this guy and he's letting us down badly, too often.

                So my patience snapped...

                Orioles get:

                Henry Rodriguez
                John Lannan

                Nationals get:

                Jim Johnson
                Joel Pineiro
                B prospect catcher

I know Rodriguez can be wild but I can pitch with him really well, the total opposite of Johnson, and he has shutdown stuff when on.

I get a closer I can handle better and a 5th starter in Lannan, Matusz whos been struggling goes to the pen and long relief.

The Nats get a top closer in Johnson who can close for them until Storen is off the DL, a solid 5th starter/backup/bullpen guy in Pineiro and a catching prospect they may be able to use down the line.

I know Johnson has good ratings and could be very good, but I just can't pitch with him, so took the plunge on someone I know I can.

Has either side been ripped off?

Does my train of thought make sense?

                Any opinions appreciated

Take out Piniero and throw in a prospect and it's OK.

Any idea what I can do with Billy Butler? Really open to anything. Like relief pitchers, second basemen, anything really. I probably won't trade him but he is only hittin .220

They wouldnt take it without Pineiro, which i didnt mind as he was only in AAA for me.

I'd take Johnson out as well as he's basically worthless and go with 2 low B's for Lannan and Rodriguez... That of course is if you care about Lannan at all

Need some advice on this trade in year 1.

                          Cubs trade:
                          Starlin Castro SS
                          Matt Garza SP
                          Carlos Marmol

                          Nationals trade:
                          Jordan Zimmermann SP
                          Drew Storen CP

                          Or this trade

                          Cubs trade:
                          Starlin Castro SS
                          Matt Garza SP
                          Darwin Barney 2B

                          Nationals trade:
                          Jordan Zimmermann SP
                          Wilson Ramos C
                          Danny Espinosa

He has to go to a team looking for a DH. How are the Rays doing in your franchise? If two of Scott, Matsui and Pena are doing bad maybe try to swing a deal for Niemann or Davis. Idk what rosters you are using but on mine Butler is making 2.4 a year for 2 years which is definitely reasonable for a team like Tampa. Or you could look at doing something like Butler for Badenhop and either Keppinger or Rhymes.
