Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Bundy is a pitching prospect, so I won't compare them.
Harper's putting up great stats, and I don't think Machado will be able to do what he's doing. I don't think he has the talent, plus he's in the AL East. And I doubt anyone's gonna have a rookie year like Trout for a very long time. He's hitting over .330 in his rookie year. It's blowing my mind. Over a full 162, he's translating to .330, 20+ HRs, and 40+ SB. True 5 tooler. Although Machado is gonna be a top 3 SS. I think him and Profar duke it out for #1 SS in the league after a few years, assuming Correa moves to 3B."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Kocthamn just got hurt for the year for me and I'm not a big fan of Laporta so might have to make a trade. Indians are interested in Youk IRL so if they make that trade I might pull that off. But AC or NFG or anyone else have any other ideas on who I could get. Needs to be realistic as that's how I run my chise
Another under the radar name who'll be available for a bag of balls is The Russ Bus, Russell Branyan. I think he's on the Yankees AAA roster.
Not the best fielding 1B options and the worst if you compare to someone like Kotchman but either Jason Giambi or Jim Thome would do a fine offensive job for you. Speaking of old guys, Lyle Overbay and Mark Kotsay...
Two young options could be Brandon Allen or Kila Ka'aihue.
I'd however prefer Garett Jones and the Jesus Guzman's of the world that NFG4M mentioned.Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Now this isn't a fancy name or anything but someone who has good power and contact skills vs LHP (or RHP, I can't remember exactly)...I'm talking about Jorge Cantu who should be listed under the Angels AAA. You'll get him really cheap cuz the Angels are loaded with 1B talent in the minors. Big bonus is that Cantu can play 3B as well.
