Im hitting June in my franchise with the Braves and im slowly seeing players hit the trade block. Chipper is still in playing form (cross my fingers) and i know he is pretty much retiring after this year in the game. I THINK i want to move Prado to 3B to platoon with Chipper, but i need to get a middle of the lineup right handed corner outfielder to play LF.

I am looking at moving Jair but not sure who i could pursue to make it realistic. If potentials were updated weekly i think JJ would be a C or C-. Who would be my best option as far as trades go? I wouldnt mind throwing in one of the young arms to get that high rated guy that the Braves SHOULD be looking at...

Thanks in advance for the help

Reading your post, Soriano was the first name I came to think about. I'm sure Theo would love to get Jurrjens back in return for Soriano.

Staying in Chicago and on the topic of names who have faded, Alex Rios could be a fit. Kenny Williams could use Jurrjens as well and shop Floyd to another team

What teams are out of contention (?) to further look into potential right handed, corner outfield bats for you to target

I like Soriano the name, but the contract seems to be a bit ridiculous for his age and what not. I haven't looked at Rios but will have to now, since you brought his name up.

Depending on what rosters you're using, Soriano might actually be making around 3 million instead of his monstrous IRL deal

Wouldn't be a bad thing if you can find a good fit for your OF and only give up Jurrjens. Rios has a nice power and speed combo going and could go 20/20 for you

I will check but i think off the top of my head the Padres and Minnesota are 10+ out already. Im using the OS rosters, i believe 1.5 if im not mistaken

Does this sound fair? Astros get: Anthony Gose (a pot) Blue Jays Get: Wandy Rodriguez
Mets, Giants, Rangers, and the Aggies

No, no, no! Two mid B's for Wandy, at most. And DEFINITELY not Anthony Gose. For a trade from the Jays....

                    Deck McGuire
                    Chad Jenkins
                    Asher Wojcieshowski

                    Two B's and a C.

Exactly! That was a trade by the CPU! That just goes to show how bad the trade logic is.

Two low B's and a C is something I'd do. I was just out of prospects to give you so I was fighting the price down, LOL

What would it take to get Eduardo Nunez as the Cardinals? I need a back up third baseman who bats right, and he fits the criteria perfectly.
