Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Austin Jackson is not leaving the #1 spot in Detroit, he's been far too good there this season.
Casper Wells isn't a bad option to go after. He has some power and ok contact, ok fielding too. 28 y/o I think and a B potential.
Remember that as the Tigers, you don't have many great prospects as they're already set up to win now.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Mets franchise I am curerntly .500 about a week after the All Star Break and Ramon Ramizer (RP) is a guy I've been loolking to move. He's 2-5 with a 5.32 ERA. The Royals are a surprise team in the AL Central and are tied for first. They're looking for a CP and RP and their current relievers are really struggling. My Mets are last in steals with Andres Torres being the only guy with more than 7 stolen bases.
So my deal is
Royals Receive:
- RP Ramon Ramirez
Mets Receive:
- LF Jason Bourgeois
Bourgeois hasn't played in the majors all year (AAA) and has 34 stolen bases. I feel this is a fair "minor" trade that could help both teams a lot. What do you think?Comment

Watching the Rox @ Mets game now and came to think of Tyler Chatwood and Charlie Blackmon.
I know Chatwood was just acquired this winter in the Iannetta deal but given how he's been a swingman in the majors for them and pitching in AA Tulsa besides that, what's a fair price for him? A high C?
Blackmon is one of my favorite players and offers a little bit of pop along with the potential for a nice average and plus speed. Would he be strictly a B or 2 C's? He's sort of the odd man out in an outfield of CarGo, Colvin, Fowler, EY Jr and Tim Wheeler knocking on the doorFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Are you looking to just play 1 season or go deep into your franchise? You can watch for speedy guys in the draft, and Drew Smyly is a future ace who you can put behind Verlander or trade for a great return later.Comment

Infante plays the 2 spot good for me. When both Jackson and Infante get on base, double stealing becomes so easy on those slow curve balls.

About Infante, I may keep him as he's playing very well lately, but I want to evaluate my options and see if I can get a better guy.
I wanted to go for Reyes but it's his first year as a Marlin.Last edited by MindBeats; 08-23-2012, 01:26 PM.My teams:

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I don't really know if I want to go deep. How many games do you play? Usually I simulate the 1st game of the series and only if I'm about to loose the series, I play the rest of the games. For example: 3 game series, simulate the first, get a win, simulate second, another win, I won that series so I'm gonna simulate the other game too. But if I loose the second one I have to play the third so I don't loose that series.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Infante is a good player, he's a very good contact hitter and he's decently quick. Poor mans Reyes without the exceptional fielding. I play the games I feel like playing, if it's a good pitching match-up, if I want to play in that particular stadium, or if I'm facing a terrible pitcher.
The only thing I feel I need is a 2B or a guy that can play 2B. This is my line-up:
1. Austin Jackson CF
2. Omar Infante SS
3. Miguel Cabrera 3B
4. Prince Fielder 1B
5. Mike Morse LF (Traded for two B's)
6. Alex Avila C
7. Delmon Young DH
8. Victor Martinez 2B
9. Alfonso Soriano RF (Traded for two C's)
Any advice on how I could improve my line-up?My teams:

Honestly the Tigers OF was good without the trades you made, Dirks is playing extremely good, and Boesch is a solid starter. Very fast for a big guy too.Comment
