i know u dont like to factor in resigning but what if Garza was locked up long-term? would he worth at least a low-A in your eyes?

I never said he is a one year rental. Depending on his performance would give him a 2-3 year extension. By that time Odorizzi and lamb will be more then ready for the show

i see your point....i just like to know have some kind of idea beforehand the long-term plans,if any, for the guy im tradin for and go from there....if Garza's strictly a one year rental, then yes 2 high B's+high C sounds fair

You guys I don't think get it, your only giving up those prospects for the 1 year no matter if you resign him or not. After that one year, he could resign somewhere else or do whatever, so it has nothing to do with the prospects you gave up. 1 year of Garza isn't worth 5 years of an A prospect, no one can win that argument.

and i get your point...im just saying WHAT IF, u knew u was gunna resign him in the offseason?...i would only give up a low-A if i knew 110% i was gunna resign him....so Bugle, every guy that's on a 1-year contract in the game is viewed as a rental to u? what if he has an incorrect contract?

nobody's disputing that in the real world....in a virtual world, if Garza has a solid year and leads me deep into the playoffs, giving up an A prospect would be the least of my concerns honestly

I was looking for a general guideline you use regardless of the name... But you can assume the players are reputable guys and not no name players.
