Tigers and Cards are set at third with Miggy and Freese. I'd look around for teams that are in need of a young 3B with a bat that's practically major league ready. Three teams come to mind in Colorado, Cincinnati and Atlanta (when Chipper retires).
Do you want the trade to be realistic in what you receive in return?Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Even if he isn't, he's a high B. Perio can't be a low B. If he actually is, it's sorta fair. But he can't be."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
if you are gonna trade him, i'd say do it in the offseason if wright leaves the mets. you could get Jeurys Familia (SP, high B/low A pot, power pitcher, possible future closer), Daniel Murphy (2b, b pot, very good hitter, shaky but improving fielder) or Ruben Tejada (SS, b pot, good contact hitter, very good glove), and Reese Havens (2b, C pot, good lefty hitter)injury prone with high upside) or Zach Lutz (3b, C pot, power hitter)Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
i wouldnt let go of him because he can be a very vital piece if you're in a playoff run in the future. when you trade a guy like him, you're looking to get a guy like him back, so i dont see the point. he's not a veteran with a huge contract either. hes under team control for some time. i say keep him.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Probably both. Although I doubt a deal could be worked out, as with Lamb, Dywer, Ordiozzi, Montgomery, and Duffy, the Royals are set for pitching."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Never can enough pitching especially the way that crop of prospects area struggling mightily.... But the Royals would never trade Mpustakas anywaysComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Agreed. And him and Hosmer might be the two most untouchable teammates in the bigs. Strasburg and Harper, and Bautista and Lawrie have an argument, though."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I don't think Lawrie and Bautista aren't even close to harp and Straus. Every team has a couple of untouchables, but no one touches harp and Straus.Comment

I'm not talking in terms of skill, I'm talking in terms of I know my team and AA is more likely to light himself on fire than to trade those two lol."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What do you guys think of me trading Domonic Brown for Nolan Arenado? If need be, I'm willing to throw in Biddle or possibly Colvin as well.
EDIT: I could throw in Polanco or Franco too if necessary.Last edited by bwoodring9; 06-19-2012, 08:11 PM.Comment
