Yeah I agree. Would have to be Kimbrel and Teheran if you're only looking to send two players packing.

Volquez is really two mid B's at max.

I don't think Jeter is worth an A (Jacob Turner). I'd lean toward a high B

It really depends on how he's playing. If he's playing like he is IRL, then he's worth the A.

He retired after the first year in my franchise too so it's a huge risk too. I personally wouldn't do it.

If you're in contention, it's worth it.

                        Certainly better than Omar Infante

Mehhh...Infante's been playing really well since we acquired him. But that's not the point lol. In this scenario, Infante was never acquired by Detroit since Turner was the main piece in that deal. But the Tigers wouldn't want to give up an A prospect and Raburn (who's JL's mancrush along with Phil Choke) for a 38 year old Jeter who we know will retire after one year. I wouldn't give up an A prospect for Jeter unless we wanted to sacrifice defense for offensive output. And since Detroit is loaded on offense, I'd rather take a guy who hits .250-.270 with about 10 HR and can play solid defense over a guy like Jeter who's not a very good defender but hits very well.

Jeter's a pretty average defender, and if he's hitting over .300 with 15-ish dingers, it's a good trade. He's much better than Peralta, lol.

But in the Show, Peralta plays equal if not better defensively and puts up a .265 average with 15-20 dingers. He ends up being fairly equal to Jeter's production and I don't have to give up the future for him.

I haven't ever seen Peralta do that in Scott's rosters... Always .250, and 10-ish HRs. On the same level defensively, I'd take Jeter if I'm going for the WS, any day of the week.
