Guessing Yamaico Navarro could fill the UT position for Harrison if he's still around in their system

He is and also Holt would work for them as well for a utility player.

By the Pirates standard, both those guys are an ok UT. I'd say it's fair if they were to part with Harrison in a trade

Lahair for Harrison straight up is fine.

Awesome. Thanks AC. That's what I thought but wanted a second opinion.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

In July 2013 and looking to pick up a good LH reliever. The following players all have B potential:

              Jake McGee - 5.08 ERA, 44.1 IP, 47 H, 8 HR, 42 K, 26 BB
              Rex Brothers - 2.23 ERA, 36.1 IP, 28 H, 3 HR, 44 K, 14 BB
              Joe Paterson - 4.86 ERA, 33.1 IP, 40 H, 2 HR, 19 K, 13 BB
              Antonio Bastardo - 2.50 ERA, 36 IP, 21 H, 1 HR, 44 K, 15 BB

Oddly enough, McGee is the hardest by far to get. I had a package in mind of Charlie Furbush (C Pot SP, struggling in bullpen), Ian Stewart (B Pot 3B, slow start after solid 2012), and Chih-Hsien Chiang (B Pot RF, doing well in AAA). All these teams could really use a 3B.

I feel like Brothers should theoretically cost the most, and maybe would be the only one worth all three players I just mentioned (or more?). Paterson strikes me as a guy who is worth one or two C's. I'm not so sure on the other two, any thoughts? Thanks.

As discussed their are only a couple relievers worth 2 B's (I don't remember off the top of my head) But none of those guys are worth it. Maybe you could look at Breslow, Coke, Perkins, Gonzalez, and Marshall. AC should know this more than me!!!

Another guy to look at is James Russell. He's done well in my franchise.

McGee and Paterson are a mid C each. Brothers and Bastardo are a high C and a mid C given their youth and solid SU upside.

I'd value Russell at two mid C's.

Scott Elbert of the Dodgers and Joe Thatcher of the Padres are both available for a mid C each

                            Yep.

Also, Trevor Bauer and Justin Upton are back on the table, apparently.

i never thought Felix was going anywhere either as well as most knowledgable baseball fans.....not surprised with Upton's name being thrown around...i am a bit with Bauer though
