He wanted a corner OF. I was thinking more Gerardo Parra for Aumont/Valle.

        Dodgers(nothing)

You're right though....I've got to get creative.
Do the Yankees still have Mason Williams and Michael Pineda? Should have developed nicely and still be fairly young.

I hear ya on the Phillies. Forget about them.

The Dodgers have a weak system. Can't come up with any good names for you.

The Rangers - Profar, Andrus? Leonys Martin? Martin Perez? Holland for one year at 3 million is alright but a resigning would probably put him in the 10 mil/year range I guess? That'd still save you some payroll though and you're getting another lefty back for the rotation

That's a good call as well. Don't know if there was a specific need for a reliever but I figured that their bullpen is weak and he mentioned corner outfielder or pitcher

I always look to Parra...but never pull the trigger.
I did pick up Snider for a little bench power as a COF though...he does provide some pop off the bench which is nice.

They have Williams and Pineda...but they shelled out to keep Pineda(I forget the amount)...
Either that....or the problem(HOPEFULLY that will be addressed for '13) is that in the off season....guys who are renewable...can't be traded until they get that renewable contract...and I'm in December.

I wound up keeping Kershaw and Kennedy. I trimmed some payroll with some lesser players and wound up passing on Ellsbury. I couldn't handle the contract. Longoria is up for grabs FA...and I could probably get in the running for him...and move Wright to 2B.

            Venters went to L.A.

That's creative thinking with Longo and Wright. Sounds like a plan that could work out if you're able to get Longo at a decent amount of dollars.

Is Billy Hamilton playing CF for the Reds? Doubt they could pull off the Kershaw contract though but you mentioned Kennedy as possible trade bait

Yep, the little thread you started is on its 1140th page AND has Knight appearances, haha.

BTW, dibs on starting this for MLB 13.

And it's 2:15 lol, sleep. Only reason I'm responding to this now is homework kept me up

With a first post that we update with player values so that one who's eager to make a trade easily can refer to the list and find out what to pony up in the deal?

Luke Scott as a combined 1B/LF/DH making 5 million in 2012. One mid-C in exchange for him? Two low C's? Pretty much the same value I guess?

What about an inexpensive Keppinger making 1,6 million in 2012. Two high C's from a contender?

I'm not sure about Hamilton(where he is playing), but I am desperate for some speed and a decent MLB level bat....because as of now, I've got an outfield of Duda, Zobrist(dealt for him with a pitching prospect and Daniel Murphy 2 years ago),Hairston/Snider and Kentrail Davis(I think I got him when I dealt Santana 2 years ago)...but none of them are really CF'ers. I could probably try Davis in CF...he's got speed, but I don't think his bat is ready.
Hamilton might work, but the Reds are perennial contenders and I'm not sure what I have that would work for them.

I won that world series in 2015 off the career year of Ike Davis(nearly a triple crown .353 38 HR 124 RBI......someone even beat him out for MVP!...I forget who right now, but I remember the HR/RBI totals were higher than Davis) and Ian Kennedy's arm(19-4....sub 3.00 ERA and ridiculous WHIP), but I can't count on that again(Davis' ratings were not indicative of that kind of season, and I try not to look at the attributes/rating bars anyway).

I'm definitely going to need some upgrades somewhere.

Yeah...that's a Knight sighting ...hey once I get 3 or 4 years into my franchise...I could use some help too!

..and I'd like to thank you guys for helping!

That'd be somewhat easy to manage and people could sort on values, positions etc
