Yes.

If memory serves, on the Vita it's L+Left on the D-Pad and it works like a charm.

Granted, I've only tried it once but so far, so good.

Is there anyway on MoM to make an aggressive pickoff play?? Everytime I choose pickoff the pitcher makes a lazy "lob" throw to first and never catches the runner.

Does anyone know if there is a way to select which uniform the CPU will wear in manager mode or are we stuck with them wearing the default grays and whites all season? I know the latest patch addressed "special jersey days" but I don't think alternate jerseys fall onto a schedule for most MLB teams. For example, teams like the Marlins and A's seem to wear their solid colored jerseys more than the grays and whites.

...Or does the game have some sort of algorithm built in so that CPU teams will randomly and sometimes frequently wear their alternate uniforms? (Wishful thinking probably)

No on picking uniforms for the CPU.
They will randomly wear the alternates after the patch it seems.


Just lost a heartbreaker to Philly.
Down 2-0 early....tied it 2-2....went up 4-2. I made the mistake of trying to squeeze one last inning out of R.A. Dickey and Pence made me pay.....hitting a 2 run homer in the seventh.
Parnell then gave up a jack to p/h Ty Wiggington ...and we had no answer.

It sticks, you just can't go back and check.

Select the CPU team. Hit X. Select their Uni combo. Hit O. Select your team, select your uni, advance to game

If you go back and check the CPU uni after you set it, it will go back to the default.

Have I literally played like 150 games (MOM/CPU/Play) and never seen a CPU alternate uniform???

Wow. You'd think I'd notice something like that.

I read about it in the patch description but was a little unclear as to what Ramone meant. I think because I figured I'd seen the CPU wear them.

Can someone clarify this for me?

You just saved my historical season replays!

Guys...just one thing. You probably realize it already but just in case.
When the batter/pitcher screen is up and you see the hitter box. It says contact/speed....but that graphic is really contact/power.
Just FYI.

I thought it was amusing seeing Michael Bourn at the plate and his speed says maybe 30% yet I know he's a freak on the base paths. In my franchise going into the home series against the Mets, He's leading the league in stolen bases with 11.

I had a great game the other day against the Brewers. Down three runs, I bring in a pinch hitter in the 5th or 6th cause we're down 2 to 5. I bring in Hinske with runners on second and third with two outs. He slaps a single up the middle. Then in the 7th, Jason Heyward who had let a ball just sail through his glove with the bases loaded earlier in the game with two outs to have us at 5 to 1 earlier came up with a game tying rbi single with two outs.

Then still tied in the 9th, He came up with a runner on first and J-Hey hit the gaming winning rbi triple.

I also had a home run call overturned in the first inning on Jackie Robinson day. Prado missed the left field poll by inches..

Yeah....I had Lucas Duda up at the plate...and I'm like...."wha?"....I've got to knock his speed down, no way he's that fast!

I'm really liking the way the game is playing out this year. REALLY liking it.
After the heartbreaking early season loss to Philly the day before.....I got one back from them yesterday. Worley was really in control for the first 4 innings. Buzzsaw.
I then managed to manufacture two runs in the 5th to tie the game at 2-2.
He seemed to straighten back out....but in the 7th...with one on and Ronny Cedeno(getting a rare start)....I almost pinch hit...but figured....you can't have unexpected heroes if you don't give them the chance, so I let him stay in. He delivered a two run shot and we never looked back for a 6-2 win.
Series ends tonight!
Oh...and Scott Hairston has been money for me so far this year.
