Manage mode has been patched, they have fixed it so the cpu no longer manages the human player's team!

This just in, don't use the 'brush back' option. It's more like a 'hit batter' option. Has anyone used this and the pitch actually not hit the batter?

I've used it 5 times in my franchise. 3 times hit the batter in the foot, twice missed him, but just barely. Near the feet, of course. I think a brush-back should go near the letters, or if you're really pissed, the helmet. Not that I condone that type of behavior.

Ok I'm started to get annoyed with all of the diving attempts my outfielders that result in triples for the hitter. Is there anyway to calm this down a little bit?

Seen this a lot too,but I've also gotten a lot of triples because of it.So I'll live with it

Is there a hit & run glitch that I don't know about?

I ran one and immediately after my hitter swung and missed (and my runner successfully stole 2nd), he stole 3rd on his own on the very next pitch.

Any workaround for this?

And is there any way to not have the managing OSD disappear every time I hit the 'select' button (looking at hot/cold zones, pitcher analysis, etc)? When I return to the game, the OSD is gone and I can't make any managerial decisions until the next pitch.

In RTTS (haven't done in MoM), you can call for time before the next pitch. That cancels the thing. Don't know if that works in MoM though.

Exactly my first thought too. But I don't think you can call time in MOM.

I've seen this a number of times It may need to go in the bugs and glitches thread.Not sure if there's a workaround,didn't think you could call time in MoM mode.

I use the L1+L2 hot keys instead of the menu...and my guys never go for the next base if they are safe.

Just lost a heartbreaker Game #5 of my season (I'm KC MoM) at OAK in 11 innings. I won the first game of the series 13-4...my first W after being swept at LAA. Great pitchers duel that was 1-1 in the 9th. My leadoff guy gets on in the top of the 8th, 10th, and 11th and I successfully sacrifice the runner to 2nd all 3 times to no avail in any of the 3 innings. I had a bad feeling bringing Broxton in for the Bottom of the 11th (it was his first appearance of the season.) He goes on to walk 4 batters in a row!!!!!!! Ballgame, lose 1-2 in 11. So now I stand at 1 and 4. 17 runs and 30 hits combined in game 1 in Oakland, 2nd game 3 runs and 10 hits combined in 11 innings. I LOVE the variance...this games a blast even when I lose (after I get over the chit)

Nah, this game is not realistic at all . Read my above post then check out what Broxton did yesterday at OAK (crazy real). He came in the 11th...walked 2, then hit Gomes with bases loaded to lose it!
