I'm having a hard time navigating through all 50 pages, what are some of the deals you guys pulled off for Lee and Wandy?

Actually I ended up sending springer, wandy, myers, and a young b prospect starting pitcher.. They had no closer and two starters on the DL. Second in their division at the time. So I feel as though it was pretty fair and helped both teams (they won their division).

Yea i guess that's a pretty fair trade. Personally i want to keep Springer and bring him up next year to replace Bogusevic. At that point my outfield will be full of young talent with JD, Schaffer, and Springer .

My dude isn't high on Schafer. I think he said he gonna replace him. I personally like Schafer in the lineup. There's many options you can do with him.

damn right if he keeps being a bum, im gunna replace him....and there's not many options for Schafer....he's either a leadoff hitter or he's batting 8th in a NL lineup...his contact isn't good enough to warrant batting #2 IMO

Agreed, he has great speed and in my franchise he is a much better hitter than his attributes suggest.

I think it all depends on how good a feel you have for the guy, personally i hit very well with Schaffer therefore i bat him second. Eventhough he only has 1 hr so far in the season he does hit plenty of doubles and steals alot of bases.

Yeah I see Santana in my future too but he is still a few years away, i think he's 19 and so far he's been struggling in AA.

Throw in Singleton, Villar, DeShields, and if Wallace ever hits his stride the Astros would have young guys at every position....not too shabby

The kid is an exciting prospect and looks like he'll be going to Houston.

i've heard Appel linked to Houston and the Twins taking Buxton but if you're right, there's no chance im not playing with Houston again next year.....i dont have time to edit picks however.....it's hard enough getting through multiple seasons as is

Also I can't remember right now who will be a FA but did u sign any players in ur current team to long term deals?
I'm only a few weeks into the season but here are their stats currently.

                              Castro through 40AB's - .225 AVG, 1 RBI, 4BB, 6SO's, 0HR, (A few doubles in past couple games)
                              Bogey's through 43AB's - .256 AVG, 1 RBI, 0HR, 2 SB
                              J.D. Martinez through 42 - .262, 3HR, 8RBI
                              Lowrie through 42 - .214, 2HR, 7RBI

Nothing special but for now I don't have anything better. Also I clearly resigned most of the team but some in particular that I've locked down are...

J.D. Martinez 6 year deal, Bud Norris 4 year deal, Jed Lowrie 5 year deal, Singleton I signed to either an 8 or 10 year deal I think so hes mine forever pretty much haha, Castro is in the last year of a 2 year deal. Pretty much everybody has a 3-5 year deal. Only sign bad guys to 1 year deals.

                                Re: Da Astros

At what point do you think is a realistic point to give up on a player and send them to AAA. I ask because through 3 starts Henry Sosa is 0-3 with a 10.54ERA. He has only pitched in 13.2 innings over those 3 starts allowing 21 hits, 7BB, a 2.05WHIP, and guys are batting .356 off him. Should I give him one more shot?

I've got so much talent in the minors so I'm itching to bring him up. Archie Bradley namely being one I want to call up (because I gave up a lot to get him so I want to use him lol..)

On another note I had one of my most exciting games recently going into the 13th innings about to warm up my next starting pitching in the rotation. Bottom 13 I lead off with a single up the middle with Lowrie. Follow that with a single to right with Schafer. Sub in Castro (off day for him) for the pitcher and he drills another single to the gap winning the game. Those moments make the 3 hit games forgettable haha.
