If the real life season was completed, then I think re-rating would be more accurate because now you're working with a full season performance.

Two, The rookies. I'd rather not have the real first rounders in my franchise. I'm kind of a all or nothing type person. If I'm going to get real life rookies, I'd want the first 5 rounds of rookies. Also, It would take away from the importance of the 2012 draft when it actually happens in the game. So in other words if I'm going to have CPU generated rookies in 2012, then I want all of my rookies to be that way. I'll look forward to OSFM next year for the draft picks rookies of today.
Nothing wrong with that man. I understand. Was just wondering. But yea keep us updated man. I personally like reading how everybody is doing in there Astros chise as everybody has a different outcome.

God...I'm gonna be sooooo bored until I get Scott's roster. But the thing is, I'm still kinda torn on them. For the same reason Geronimo brought up about being an "all or nothing guy" when it comes to draft picks and his other reason wasn't horrible either.

Like, I'd love to have McCullers and Correa, but at the same time...I feel like I either need all the draftees, or none. Plus I'd feel just as cool if I drafted the next Correa and McCullers.

I think I'm gonna play this franchise until they drop and then take a good hard look at Scott's rosters when they come out. If I like them more than the ones I have, then I'll restart and sim to whatever date I get to in my chise, and if not then I'll have been playing and enjoying my Astros for a week or so.

The way I look at it is, having McCullers and Correa is a big deal to me. My main reason for the switch is because, my current chise is no longer any fun due to my mistakes on not realizing how bad the CPU trade logic was. Plus I've never played with Scott's rosters and based on everybody else, there suppost to be very realistic with all the edits, and that's what I'm really looking forward to

That's what I was thinking...I mean, McCullers and Correa are nice pieces to have, but its not a deal-breaker to me if I don't have them. The only thing I'm scared of is seeing all the people in here with their "Man McCullers is DOMINATING" or "Wow Correa is raking for me!" comments, while my team lacks those presences on them in the future.

I'm just impatient...I mean, I just got my PS3 and The Show is pretty much all I can play right now so of course I'm gonna be anxious lol.

the last paragraph summarizes what's going on in my head...can one really say no to Correa and McCullers tho? especially with the shape the Astros farm system is in?...normally i would agree with Geronimo since im not the biggest fan of starting a franchise mid-season especially with all the transactions and stuff..it's just not everyday the team you're playing with has the first overall pick who btw is very intriguing

That's the other thing that's on my mind...our farm system isn't very deep. I mean Lowrie, Lee and Wandy could all be out of town come the deadline and they could replenish the farm a bit. But adding those two prospects on top of what I can get back for all three of those contributing vets, would be even better.

and you're forgetting 2 big bums in Myers and Lyon...not that either would bring u back a king's ransom but that's another 3-4 C (maybe sneak a B) prospects u can add onto the team if both are pitching well at the deadline

Lyon's actually been really good for me so far...to the tone of a 1.45 ERA in Spring. But Myers, well we all know how that man's been doing. But yeah, I guess I could get some C's in the system from them.

With 30 team control, he'd have had to slip himself something

well technically, u can accept trades for CPU-controlled teams under 30-team control....but anything more then a C for a highly-productive Harrell is highway robbery

Hahaha force trades or 30-team control works wonders huh?

But honestly even Harrell, if he was putting up Cy Young numbers what can you get for him?
