Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
So I started my Marlins Franchise pre patch, saved it post patch and I'm currently sitting at 6-4.
Until know I have not experienced any freezes or other issues with the schedule or box scores.
But how do I know if im clear to continue and don't have to start over? Am I already clear because there were no issues or do I have to simulate to the end of April or the season?Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
This is what I'm doing too... I'm using the Padres, in april. I meet 3 of the 4 requirements to have issues with my franchise, but I'm gonna keep going. I don't look at box scores and I could care less if 4 teams play an extra game or are missing a game. As long as my stats are correct and it doesn't randomly freeze in game (which I'm not experiencing), I'll be good.5-8 with my Astros and I started my franchise before the patch. Updated with the patch and simulated to about the all-star break (to see if I have to start over or not) and NO freezing or mishaps.
I'm going to continue playing until something happens. For the love of god I HOPE nothing happens.

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
That's been my stance too: Just Play. I haven't done anything in my normal routine that has caused a freeze, so I'm not going to approach anything differently. I've been playing my (pre-patch) franchise as usual, and my RTTS as usual (including jumping back and forth between PS3 and PSP), and still no issues. If I do find myself in a bind, then I will try a workaround, but for now it's game on.
I'm definitely not going to delete things, or make changes based off of what others have seen. To help troubleshoot, I've been trying to invoke a freeze, and I have yet to make it happen.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
Talk about a freaking coincidence, my three year old son decided to pull the disc out of the console and put his peanut butter covered fingers all over the disc, cleaned the disk, no freezing issues as of yet and I am six games into my franchise.
I usually turn the main power button off on the back of the console so he can't get the disc out, the one time I don't and this happens during the whole patch fiasco.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
I'm at the end of May in my franchise and finally ran into this issue. Can't access the schedule without a freeze. So you figure I have about 50+ hours invested in my franchise. This whole patch thing is complete BS.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
SCEA I am begging you......Please provide an update, if there is any likelihood this can get patched to still use existing Franchises.
And since I'm not holding out hope for that......maybe it is more realistic to ask, please let us know when a possible patch for the Vita will be out so I can start a new Franchise.
I was really enjoying the game this year and I am a Red Sox fan.
I desperately want to be able to play this game to shield myself from the actual Boston Red Sox.....and honestly, if this goes on much longer, with the way the actual team is playing I might lose all desire to start a season with them.
I spent $380 to play the Show this year.......I currently can not play it, I really don't think honest and timely updates are too much to ask.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
I'm playing season mode and just played the May 1 game without issues. I am the Reds and have played the Marlins. Hopefully this means I'm in the clear as far as freezes.NFL: Tennessee Titans

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
My game froze today
I had just finished playing a game against the Mariners. I don't remember the date, but it was the 3rd game of a 4 game series against Seattle, at some point in the first week of May. After the game I went to my schedule to see the box score for the game I had just played, because I was trying to see the attendance for the game. I had completely forgotten about the potential for freezes to be honest, and then bam.
Anyway the point is that I'm in May. Also I wanted to vent. I'm done now.Comment

Bobhead, can't recall, but did you restart your franchise after the patch? I ended up restarting over again since I didn't want to take a chance getting in deep in the schedule for it to screw up later. My game froze today

Re: MLB 12 The Show Title update 1.06 Schedule Issue
Na I didn't restart, I was already close to a month in, and had already restarted once so I could use OSFM. I'm just not interested in restarting again. If my file becomes unusable I'll just play a different mode. The more of an inconvenience it becomes, the more it will affect my decision next March, though.Comment

I'm sure the guys at SCEA will find a solution for all these freezing issues, including the decimals bug. Maybe just a couple of weeks away from a patching patch... :wink:Comment
