Same here, no problems at all.

It is definitely hard to pinpoint what is going on... I think 30-team control may have something to do with it too, since that basically makes one of the trouble teams, "your team". I use single team control and I haven't had any issues, even when I tried to do things that I thought would cause it to freeze. I will try (if time permits) to record a video of me trying to create a freeze. One other thing with me is, my 1st game after the patch, in my pre-existing franchise was a game that was already in progress. So maybe all the other games were "in progress" too and not effected by any schedule time changes for that day (4/14) - I'm not on 4/22, after playing every game up to now. After the patch issues surfaced, I simmed into May without saving, and try to invoke a freeze but still nothing. I'm not sure if I attempted to look at any boxscores from the 4 "trouble" teams tho. I guess I will try that tonight.

Good point- the 30 team control thing. Technically, anyone who is using this feature is interacting with one of the potential "infected" teams. I also only play with 1 team- that being the Mets. However, I did play against one of the potential bug teams- that being the Marlins.

I feel as though for all of the little nit picky problems some users wanted fixed in the patch, they got a little more than what they bargained for. It's not as simple as going into an excel spreadsheet and retyping the time of the game. I am nowhere even close to a programmer, but many people seem to not appreciate all of the tiny details that go into this game. If the devs alter one thing, it can cause a drastic reaction as we have seen here. I understand we pay $60.00 for the game. I understand it should be done right. But the game was awesome even before the patch.

Hell, last year I played a full 162 game season as the Mets with Warner Lipscomb as my manager because The Show could not get Collins into the game. I feel as though this is comparable to Cubs fan complaining that the game is unplayable with incorrect start times. I'm not looking to instigate; I'm simply saying we all want the devs to rush to get out a patch so they can fix seemingly little things and we don't really appreciate the amount of time it takes to get this game as great as it is. We could be playing 2k- need I say more? Check out Darvish's face- my God. Ok I'm done ranting.

Edit: I shouldn't say many people don't appreciate the time and effort put into the game; only a few people who are shockingly demanding from what I have read.

Do you guys all sign into PSN when you play? The only time i signed into PSN was to download the OSFM. Other than that, I never sign into PSN and I have no freezing issues pre patch or post patch. And I'm using the same franchise. I read something somewhere that signing into PSN might have something to do with the freezing issues. I'm not really sure if that is the case anymore.

Even without being signed into PSN the game froze again after simulating four games. It froze when I clicked on one of the box scores.

Even without being signed into PSN the game froze again after simulating four games. It froze when I clicked on one of the box scores.

Can you pinpoint what day you are simulating that it gets frozen on? The reason I ask is it could have something to do with those teams that are in the first post. Even though you are already in May, it could still have something to do with that.

I can't believe this patch just happened to come out when I had two days left in April. I guess now I can say, unfortunately, it let me play one game against the A's, let me save, and now it seems the entire save file will be corrupted regardless.

Sorry for venting, but I am just frustrated because I was happy to see an update, and then I saw it is essentially just the info we already had from this site.
To me the workaround is unacceptable. I'm not continuing the Franchise because theoretically it "should" be okay. I'm not continuing when I could by mistake hit the wrong day on the calender, or happen to look at the wrong schedule and completely freeze my system.
I really love the game this year and just want to play.......so while this also upsets me, if you just told me I was screwed and had to start over, I'd be upset, but probably just do that.........The problem there is that is not being said (no admission there most likely will not be a fix, though reading between the lines I can see that's likely), some people reporting there still may be problems going that route, and the biggest........if I'm reading this correctly.......if I want to start over, I shouldn't use my Vita for the first month of the schedule?
I was playing/enjoying my Vita as well, so re-starting gives me a $300 paper weight?

I guess it's back to waiting.
And really I feel bad for all the gamers that don't happen to belong to a site like this, the Thousands that currently have a broken game and our scouring the internet to try to figure out why,

Well....

You could re-install the game.
Don't sign in and use a game save from pre-patch.
You should be able to then use both the PS3 and Vita for the same franchise file.
You will lose online capabilities though.

For everyone that the fix is not working for, keep in mind this is only a fix for one specific bug. There could be entirely separate bugs in play here causing the freezes you're getting, or there simply could be more to the bug than any of us realize.

For the record I haven't gotten a single freeze, and I'm still on the same old franchise file from before the patch. I got freezes initially, but those were produced intentionally, when I was messing around and cycling through teams and schedules and whatnot. I haven't actually gotten any "accidental" freezes.

TheSLAB, weren't you the one who downloaded the patch while your franchise was in a "mid-game save?" I feel like that is part of the reason you can't seem to induce any freezes.

I don't know how to get the Vita franchise file off the Vita and onto the PS3 without using the Load from Cloud option in the PS3 game. And you can't load from the cloud in the game without the patch because you can't use the online features of the game without it.
