Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
I shoot to play 10 games per week. That's 520 games a year, which depending on playoffs gets you right around 3 full seasons a year. People think its so super difficult to get really deep, but as long as you're patient, you really only have to get through 2 turns of the rotation a week to get into your fourth season before 13 even drops...I'm just an old guy sports gamer...Comment

Good morning gents. Sorry for the delay. Both of you have recently inquired on our recent Phenom Mr. Mike Trout. Here we go.
Blue Jays Get
CF - Mike Trout
SP - Dan Haren
OF - Vernon Wells ( if you guys want Trout your taking this pathetic contract back)
Angels Get
SP - Kyle Drabek
C - JP Arencibia*
3B - Brett Lawrie*
(* - denotes that if Lawrie doesn't get added we then want C Travis D' Anaud and 3B Edwin Encarncion and C Carlos Perez)
Orioles Get
Trout
Hunter
Wells ( like your East counter part, if you want Trout you'll need to take Wells and Hunter is added since this is his walk year)
Angels Get
SP - Zach Briton
CF - Adam Jones
( these are the only other guys i see besides SP Dylan Bundy and C Mark Wieters. If you want to do Wieters and Jones. I think i would lean that way more with maybe a B pitching prospect of your choice.

Jerry Dipoto
Angels GM
side note - Msuboy - here are your personal inquiries for Rangers and Rays.
Rays Get
Trout
Angels Get
Longoria

We all know that the Angels wouldn't trade Trout with him being the future of the franchise. So I shot for the moon and won't except anything short of it. Good gaming. Maybe hit up Angels027. I would be interested in his reply with him being a Angels rep as well.PSN Name - xboxxerx

I think I'm going to pass on Trout. I'd accept the deal (with D'Arnaud, not Lawrie lol), but that would completely mess up my 'chise.
to be fair, it's a video game...u can make anybody look like a stud or a bum...it depends on how YOU pitch with him....and no issues Milan...just gaging what u thought Wandy's worth...although i disagree, i respect your opinion...we're always open for business regarding Lee and/or other players u'd be interested in
P.S. i think i can make Cecil a decent pitcher if he ended up on the Stros.....Mathis has NO hope

From: THE Philadelphia Phillies
RE: Possible Trade
We are contacting you to ask if you would be interested in our trade offer which includes Domonic Brown, Kyle Kendrick, and Jesse Biddle from our organization, and your organization is giving us Nick Castellanos. The season has yet to start, so we will be providing you with last year's stats as well as attributes for the players involved going into Spring Training. Our organization has lost a lot of faith in Brown's ability to progress into a real franchise player, and we think he needs a change of scenery. That being said, he is still very young and many scouts still regard him as a top prospect. In 2011, Brown played in AA, AAA, and the Majors for us. In AA, he hit .368 with 2 HR and 4 RBI in 19 ABs (5 games.) Shortly after, we promoted him to AAA, and he hit .261 with 3 HR and 15 RBI in 138 ABs (41 games). In the Majors, he hit .245 with 5 HR and 19 RBI in 184 ABs (56 games). Going into Spring training we converted him to LF, but he is still a RF at heart. His contact is pretty mediocre as you can see from his average, and it is about the same against righties and lefties. His power is at about the same spot his average is, but he has much more against righties than lefties. Domonic also has very good plate discipline but he is still working on his plate vision. He also has great speed. His baserunning ability isn't quite there yet but we feel he will learn with more experience. His fielding is middle of the road, with a pretty good reaction time to balls hit his way, and decent arm strength and accuracy. Kendrick can provide your team with either some long relief depth from the bullpen, or even man the 5th spot in the rotation if need be. In 2011, Kendrick pitched both out of the rotation and in the bullpen. He appeared in 34 games, and started 15 with total a record of 8-6. He had 114.2 IP with a WHIP of 1.22 and an ERA of 3.22. He had 59 K's and 30 BB's. Kendrick has the stamina to pitch in the rotation if you need him to, and can also pitch in the bullpen as I stated earlier. This makes him a valuable asset to have because he has playoff experience from both the rotation and the bullpen, and we know your organization is looking for veterans with playoff experience. Jesse Biddle is one of our top pitching prospects behind Trevor May and Brody Colvin. He's 20 years old with good size, 6'4 225 LBS, and is also a lefty. In 2011, he pitched in Single A, with a record of 7-8 and a 2.98 ERA. He appeared in 25 games and started 24. He had 133.0 IP with a WHIP of 1.28. He had 124 K's and 66 BB's. Going into Spring Training, our primary focus for him is to limit his walks. He does struggle with control a bit but we feel he has the stuff and work ethic to turn that around. He also has the stuff to possibly become as high as a #2 starter because of his strikeout potential. From your organization, we want Nick Castellanos. Castellanos hit .312 with 7 HR and 76 RBI in 507 ABs (135 games played). Going into Spring Training, Nick's contact against both righties and lefties is extremely high for his age, but his power is about the same as Brown's. Nick has decent plate discipline and vision and is a mediocre fielder, but we want him for his offensive ability. We really need a young 3rd baseman to take over for Polanco as he is getting up there in age, and we think Nick can learn a lot from Polanco as well. We also feel as if your organization has the best corner infield combo in the league with Prince and Miguel, so we don't think Nick really has anywhere to play in the years to come for your team. To put the offer into a more condensed fashion, our offer is:
Phillies Give:
Domonic Brown- 24 year old OF D overall A potential
Kyle Kendrick - 27 year old RP/SP C overall C potential
Jesse Biddle - 20 year old SP D overall B potential
May I also add that Biddle was our first round pick in 2010, so we are still very high on him.
Tigers Give:
Nick Castellanos- 20 year old 3B C overall A potential
Respectfully,
THE Philadelphia PhilliesLast edited by bwoodring9; 06-21-2012, 01:32 PM.Comment

Re: Trout
Thanks for getting back to us so fast! Thanks for telling us what you would want from the rangers and rays. The rays wouldn't do that, but it wouldn't be nsane for the rangers, because Hamilton is in contract year. I'm going to stick with orioles though, so I wanted to tell y'all that that would work! With Trout, we don't need Jones(and his big contract). We are also not big fans of britton, but we think he needs a new start, and you can give him that. Hunter and Wells are no problem for us, as we love the 2 players. We love their hustle, defense, bats, and veteran prescense. They would be good off the bench, and at DH. So here's a recap:
Trout, Hunter, Wells
For
Adam Jones and Zach Britton
Thanks for the work, and have a nice day!

RE: Madison Bumgarner
We were inquiring about Mr.Bumgarner. We love his stuff, and think that he would be a great fit here. I haven't started my franchise yet, waiting for Scott's draft rosters, so I'm going off of real life stats. I realize he is probably untouchable irl, but wondering what it would take to get him from you guys in game. We could send Britton, Matusz, and Tillman, who are 3 A pot pitchers for him. Tell us if this would work, as we want to try and do a deal for him without giving up Machado and/or Schoop. Thanks for your time!
Kirk Plum, Orioles GM

Markakis
Arietta
Britton
Giants give:

Zito
Due to our current issues in the IF we would so be willing to make a deal for Hardy. This would work put well for you since you would have a chance to bring Machado up and have a potientiay cheaPer player with better upsideComment
