Just an update on my health -- I will have to have a second ultrasound after the infection I have clears just to make sure there isn't a mass or tumor hiding behind what I have going on -- but its essentially no chance of me having cancer at this point.

I'm still not well, and while I've been back to playing and getting on the forums again -- I'm still far from 100% and greatly appreciate the help of the council.

I just know through both posts here and through private message that some were concerned that I did indeed have cancer -- so I wanted to come out and let everyone know that I'll be just fine very soon. Thanks for everyone's support (and prayers, even as an atheist I appreciate them) during this exceedingly difficult last 10 days.

There's not much I can really do... I have to pretty much lie down or sit on my *** so... it's just pain and antibiotic recovery at this point.

Besides that, I haven't been worried about this project since MSUBoy got banned. I could disappear off the face of the planet and this project will be just fine with you guys here.

Not to go too far off topic, but speaking as a (slightly) older dude who has been through a few scares of my own, take your balls seriously, fellas. Stuff can happen. We men tend to want to prove we're tough by avoiding doctors; don't sacrifice your boys to pride! Hang in there pokerplaya, you'll be, uh, playing poker again before long!

Back on topic:

Cubs have made some indications of who they're ready to deal in reality, so that clears up some potential questions that came up earlier; as the deadline nears, we'll see the real deals that happen all over MLB and then we'll have some solid info as to what people might really be willing to give up, and what they aren't. It'll still be up to us, but we will all have a clear picture of who is willing to give up what to get whom, to take into consideration. The trades must flow!

My father was basically helped along to death by VA Hospital (Agent Orange/Vietnam) -- so I've always been one of those guys that doesn't go to the hospital until I'm jacked up. They said they couldn't believe I was still working up until the day prior to my initial doctor visit...

You don't have any idea how much you value your balls until you might lose one... keep yourselves checked out, guys.
