Re: Chase Headly
So far this season (My Chise), we have had very little production from 3rd Base with ARod batting .238 with 5 HRs through the allstar break. Through the past couple of weeks we have been intrigued by your 3B Chase Headly who, as you know, is batting .256/.353/.354 with 4 HRs. You guys are clearly rebuilding at Last place in the NL West. With Jedd Gyorko on the rise at 3rd for you, we think this is perfect timing to go after Headly. We are wondering who you are interested in. Here is a startup offer:
Yankees Receive:
3B Chase Headly 27 y/o B pot. C ovr. MLB
Padres Receive:
SP Ty Hensley 19 y/o B pot. D ovr. Class A
CF Slade Heathcott 21 y/o B pot. C ovr. Double A: .260/.327/.392 9 HRs 40
RBIs
Thanks for reading this. We look forward to hearing back from you.

RE: Neil Walker trade
Sorry for the delay... after consulting with our scouts and reviewing organizational depth charts, we are rejecting your proposal. We signed Clint Barmes to a two-year deal over the offseason to be our SS. Moving him to 2B to put Escobar at SS would be a lateral move, as the defensive improvement would likely be negated by the drop in offensive production. Also, Escobar is only under team control for this season and next; Walker for the next four. Furthermore, we have strong organizational depth in the outfield, so Dwight Smith is of no interest to us.
My suggestion is to check in with us later in the season. Based on our team's and Neil's performances, perhaps we'll reconsider. Unless you're willing to send us JP Arencibia and Andeiny Heche... whatever his name is. We'd take that right now.Comment

Adeiny Hechavarria is how to spell it. I just typed it out a few hundred times to gain muscle memory. At least it isn't Rzepchinski.....SpoilerI'd like to buy a vowel
We'll get back to you later in the season. As of right now, you're tied for first with St. Louis. Too bad it's only May 1st "Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
I think this is a great idea, im gonna try my hand...feel free to critique me.
TO: Cincinnati GM
FROM: Washington GM
Subject: Billy Hamilton
While we know you have picked up Broxton and have Chapman on your roster we feel we have a great trade proposal to help your major league squad while bolstering your minor league team as well. With Ian Desmond entering the 2nd year of a 3 year contract we are looking to upgrade our SS position in the lower levels as security of what may happen in that situation. As it is January we have no stats to base our trade on but only potential and need. We are willing to offer Drew Storen and minor leaguer Anthony Rendon for SS Billy Hamilton. We feel that Drew Storen can help bolster your bullpen regardless of where you need to plug him in, while Anthony Rendon can serve the purpose of giving you insurance behind the aging scott rolen at third base and even play 2b in emergency situations.Comment

Sorry we are going to pass on that offer, Hamilton is our future leadoff guy and we are still discussing his MLB position SS or CF? We have an influx of guys in our bullpen that are fairly confident in Ondrusek, Hoover, Bray, Masset and we are not willing to trade our top prospect for a position of no need.Comment

RE: Headley
We would love to do this trade but well have to get back a 1B along with Hensley. I'm not suggesting Austin, but if he's on the table we'd love to add him to the organization. Get back to us and let us know if you'd like to that deal.Comment
