Re: MLB 13 The Show Wishlist
The lighting tech alone keeps this from likely ever becoming a reality.

I'm sure everyone on here would agree with me.
Make realistic rosters with a full 90 man. That includes real players in the MLB organizations.NHL Face ID Guy: If you want to use my edits. That's cool, just credit me.

Re: MLB 13 The Show Wishlist
That's the part people don't understand. We have a more powerful system these days, but like you said people don't take into account things such as lighting and graphics just to name a few. I'm sure if we had a stadium creator in the game graphically this game would probably take a huge hit along with other things.Comment

Re: MLB 13 The Show Wishlist
Realistic contracts. I can't stand how after the first season almost every player is a free agent. If MLB and NBA games can get contracts with the correct amount and length, why can't MLB The Show?Minnesota Twins
Minnesota Timberwolves
New Orleans Pelicans

Re: MLB 13 The Show Wishlist
While the monetary value is usually incorrect in the game, the length is usually right. Do a search of any teams players and the contract length is usually right. Remember in baseball most contracts are year to year. There is renewal and arbitration which are essential one year deals with low risk to the team until a player hits 6 years mlb experience and becomes a free agent. At that point when they sign they get longer term deals.Comment

Not gonna happen anytime soon if ever but I wouldn't mind switching commentary with the other game. You can never get enough Gary Thorn.Comment

Name an example? Anyones that you see wrong I'll mention at CD..I play as the yankees and I know all if theirs and the AL east were correct. SCEA even updated contract lengths during the season when extensions were signed.Comment

The length for the top one or two players is correct, but every player who isn't a star, even if they're older than 25, start with a one year contractMinnesota Twins

Just one example I saw right away was Shin-Soo Choo for the 2012 season he should have had two years left on his deal but he's on a one year deal. There are a lot of other ones too the Indians were just the only roster I looked atMinnesota Twins

Re: MLB 13 The Show Wishlist
Any news (or chance it could be added) regarding the bat-off-the-ball showing for a split second before the camera transitions to the fielding view?
The Show currently cuts instantly on contact the fielding view. This is very awkward and a bit disorienting. It's the way games are directed/produced on tv and something that the 2K series does (the one thing they do well).
It sounds like a simple thing but I'm not sure of what all would go into programming, etc. Essentially it would just be a delay in the camera change -- let the ball travel off the bat for a second or two before switching to the fielding view.Comment

Choo was and is arbitration eligible. He has a one year deal.Comment
