a couple ideas that shouldn't be too difficult to put in:

1. List of player and team awards, so I can see who won the MVP or ROY in previous years. Also list of World Champions, if I'm running a 10+ years of franchise it would be nice to keep track of that stuff.

Absolutely!!!
I'd even go a step further with this. The player card.
Have a section in the card to show the awards/accolades. To see when he was drafted and any awards he has won. Maybe even when he made his MLB debut?

ALSO.. When you look at a player's stats in his card, I want to see what team he played for. So instead of seeing:
Year - Games - At Bats - Hits - HR - RBI - AVG

add Team before or after year.

Maybe put an * beside a number that was a league leading number?

More Stats - I'd love to see how my players performed the previous year in the minor leagues when in the offseason. I want to see if I'm interested in resigning a guy or moving him from AA to AAA or something based on how he has been performing.

When I'm looking at the contract info... I would also like it to be clearer in the card screen which year the player is in. Especially for balanced contracts.

I know other people have talked about signing extensions mid season and such, but I'd like to echo that any time I think of it.

Also front load and back load options for contracts. So if you're signing an older player to a long term deal you can pay them more now and less later.

Yeah kinda know how you feel about the hat thing, for some reason drives me crazy too feels like the player isn;t really part of the team I guess the only way is to let us add our own photos

Or just use the computer generated photo for current players as well. Gives a similarity to the newer guys, too. If the computer generated head was used for current players and fake players, it would feel more real because the guys that Knight and the guys create, on OSFM, will feel just as real as the players made by SCEA, as well as the guys we draft and players that we create on our own. We will know who they are because the game does as well as it does on making them look like the actual player. And it would avoid those players with the silhouette photo. I think there was a NBA game that did this one time... but I don't play NBA games so I can't be certain of this.

it was shockingly nba live 07 with parker on the cover. it was the only thing they got right haha. I couldn't agree with you more, i think its time to go cyber. Someone created bryce harper last year (i'm sorry for not remebering who so I can give you the proper recognition) but my God did he look great. you can remove the picks, and have the game player be the actual player card. I think it would look great and add to realism when having a bunch of traded players with the same hat on. Imagining a guy like Curtis Granderson with a Red Sox hat on just gives me chills lol

We are still missing names in the game- Chase d'Arnaud has been on Pirates roster the last 2yrs and if you go into roster vault his last name isn't in there but they announce it during game-personally all names in game should be in roster vault create players, another name is Starlin (Cubs SS) I know minor thing but I'd like to see. By the way, Knight and crew I know it's past Thanksgiving but just wanted to say Thanks for the amazing job you guys do on the rosters every yr!

Don't have the Braves fans do the tomahawk so much, should just be for "big" situations and stuff like that.

Fix the sleeves, they seem way to bulky.

1. More accurate temperatures for the Rogers Centre throughout the summer, i.e. shouldn't be in the 50's past the end of April!

2. Ability to edit contracts

3. Ability to have NRI's in Spring Training

I wonder if SCEA can get a contract with the minor league affiliates so wr can have real minor league players. If EA Sports can do it with the NHL Series, I think that SCEA can do it with MLB The Show.

They can not because there is not a minor league union. The reason we have all the real MLB players is because they have a contract with the MLB players union. To get the real minor league players, they would have to individually negotiate terms with each player (unrealistic).

It has to do with MLBPA. Minor leagers are not in the union. You need to get permission to use their name and likeness from MLBPA.

Yeah I wish. Then we would have a chance of having full minors. It would mean a lot more work for SCEA and they may choose not to do it, but at least it would be a possibility.

I haven't seen anybody on this forum commenting about that weird/robotic animation when as soon as your player hits the ball and starts running toward first you see a dramatic change of speed..is like turbo mode or something and that bothers me a lot ...I hope one day they fix this!
