Glad to know my 40inch Samsung LED doesn't have lag

As far as response time plasma is better. But its not that much better. LED backlit TV's are pretty much better than plasma in every category. You can get some with no noticeable lag at all. If you dont sit far away from your screen then a monitor is great. Here is what i use - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=acer%20s231hl .

No lag for me. Colors are great. If you want one a little bigger. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009424

Paying more for smaller. But monitors are better.

One thing to note with monitors is they typically do not have very many settings to mess around with. Since they are meant to be used with PCs the PC can control those settings through the video card drivers or something else. Everyone has specific preferences and taste. Some people like the brightness way up or contrast low, they don't care if the colors are "accurate" but if it looks good to them.

But expect contrast, color, brightness, and the basics to be there. Just not the fine tuning options a lot of modern TVs have now.

If you can handle a smaller screen monitors are great for gaming. I used one for years and only recently upgraded to full sized HDTV in the last two years. Saved me a few hundred at the time sine I just used my monitor for my PC and consoles.

LED TV is what I have right now (Sony Bravia 42"), and while it's not terrible, I'd be very disappointed if plasma TVs (which have been said to have lower input lag in general) are as laggy as LED TVs.

Smaller size monitors designed for PC use seem best for gaming use, like the one you linked, in terms of input lag....

But at the same time I've been using those monitors for a looooooong time that I kinda want to try something larger.... hahahaha

LMAO @ plasmas make everything look like you are looking out a window. Sure, because any manmade piece of technology can surpass god given vision.

Again, it's personal preferance. Nothing more or less.
I didnt mean you have them on vibrant, the stores have them on torch mode because they need to be under the harsh lights of the stores.

LCDs will never look better than a plasma. Plasmas have truer colors and have way better black levels. Not to mention plasmas have no motion blur like you get on LCDs. Not to mention LCDs had terrible viewing angle issues. Plasmas you can view from any angle and it still looks the same.

Unless you are sitting directly in front of an LCD its not going to be a proper picture.

Not to mention LCDs have tons of issues with screen uninformity, something plasmas do not have. The only thing LCDs have over plasma is brightness and that is a non issue since brightness is not a huge deal. Black levels are a much bigger negative for LCDs than brightness is for plasmas.

What are you settings? Do you have sharpness set to zero?

Do you have a game mode or PC mode for you settings? I would try those, that will also help with the lag.

Also I assume you are using HDMI ?

Can you list your settings like contrast, tint, etc etc

                              EDIT

You could try turning up your sharpness, its not good for watching TV and Movies but it may be ok for video games. I dont like it because it makes movies look fake for that shouldnt be a problem for video games.

So try turning up the sharpness and see if that makes the graphics clearer.
