        Where's your controller, mate?

Input lag is the difference between the time of your controller press to the time that response is displayed on your television. The reason input lag is bad in a baseball game is that you might see a pitch and view it as being a perfect time to swing, but really all of the video input is coming at a slight delay, so the pitch has already actually buried you more than you see it, so you'll be late on your swing, etc.

Dook, here's an example of someone's tube (left) versus their LCD (right). No controller needed in this case because their tube is just about instant response:

What about this? As soon as a push the button it goes to the next screen.

Well just as I showed in that video, the difference will only be a mere milliseconds apart. I see a little bit of lag in there.

I just suggest that you try and hook your game up to a CRT and see if you feel a difference in hitting and pitching (like if you're using a meter, for example).

If you really want to tell also try using the screen where you can type something. That will give you the best idea of lag because you are using the buttons to type, like you would be swinging.

I did and didn't notice anything.

I never knew about this before and it's not a huge enough problem for me to worry about. If I suck at hitting I'll blame my TV.

Every HD tv has lag but some are worse than other buts its just miliseconds.
If you didnt notice before you are probably fine.
