    Yes I do.

Try changing the settings for picture. Take it off Max and down one level.

You can also try changing the temp to warm.

Also what is the exact model of your tv.

You and I both know that unless he knows what he's doing, tweaks other settings, and adjusts to the picture, he is going to hate the Warm setting (which is best suited to output 6500K and which is what I use, but he won't dig it). Plus it won't help with his "blurry scoreboard" issue.

Maybe the scoreboard is just blurry and that it's it and that's all? Maybe you need glasses? Maybe a DarbeeVision Darblet is in order?

Backlight and Picture settings should never be on "max" or "vivid" levels. Also, "warm" temperatures are generally more accurate to "cool."

LEDs are close to plamas but are still not better.
The reasons are plasmas still have better black levels, you still get way better picture uniformity with plasma over LEDs, the viewing angles are still way better with plasma than LEDs. LEDs also still have motion blur where as on plasma it pretty much does not exist. Lastly plasmas are much cheaper and a better value.

You should never have a HD tv in vivid mode, it just looks bad. If you do not have a game mode, use movie mode. That is always the best setting to use for an HD TV IMO.

Sharpness should always be set to zero. 78 is way too high. At most sharpness should never go above 10

Should not have to when I am just stating that your statement is not true. Who gave you the info? Best Buy?

Plasma still has the highest rated tv's

These FACTS seem to prove that LED is better than plasma.
For a long time it was tough to call, but LCD/LED HDTVs have unequivocally won the display wars.

On game/THX mode it just feels too dark, but I'll have to retrain my eye because it probably is the best option.

I'll mess around with the settings more once I get the Show.

If you actually read that article you would see plasmas are better. The only reason they said the LED were better is because they were thinner and were energy efficient. If you actually READ about the picture qualities, you would see the plasma is better.

The top rated TV of 2012 was the panny plasma and if I am not mistake 3 of the top 5 TVs were plasmas.

When judging what TV has a better picture who cares about energy consumption or how thin the TV is.
That is all LED has over plasma, plasma is still the better looking tv and its a better value as well
