Well I don't think you can speak for everyone, because I've had games where it happens 75% of the time. It really does make the game unplayable, but I am just going to wait patiently for them to fix it.

Not sure where I said I was speaking for everyone.

I was giving my opinion just like you and everyone else has been, it's not unusual that we don't all agree.

I guess Im lucky, have only had one pitch stutter in about 12 games. Really hope they figure out what the cause it for everyone else.

I played Play Now games and franchise games and not one single stutter anywhere. I did have an occasional stutter last year with The Show 12, and that was with PS3 160 GB Slim.

This year, I upgraded my hard drive to a 180gb SSD and everything else at default in Beginner mode. I am connected to PSN, tutorials on, sliders at default, and no stuttering. I have an LCD TV. I am using the digital copy installed.

Maybe it's something that happens in modes other than Beginner? Anyone getting stutter playing Beginner mode with all else at default?

So I have had the game a week now and haven't had a stutter once.

That is until last night where I had 4 in one inning. I've not done anything different. It's a brand new ps3 superslim with nothing but the show on it.

Mental.

Incidentally I haven't had any today....

Ok so this makes it certain rebuilding the database won't make any difference since he has a brand new ps3 with noting but the show installed.

But considering the fact he started out without any stutters as well as me it could be something building up data/code/stats wise while playing that eventually causes this stutter problem?

I started seeing it in my second game. It took him a week so it's a long shot.

One thing he didnt mention is the size of his PS3 and if he still has any old MLBTS files in his database.
He didnt mention if he uses GP or if he's connected to the PSN while playing.

So its NOT certain that the database rebuild wont help. It wont help if its not done right.

I stated way earlier in the thread but here is exactly what I am doing.

Brand new 500GB Superslim bought two days before I got the show last Friday.

Nothing installed other than the show.

Always connected to PSN but not media servers.

Tips and GP turned off.

One thing that is POSSIBLY different. I've been helping with the OSFM so I have a few saved rosters and players etc. But I've had those saves all week with no problems.

I've also had none today and have been playing RTTS for 2 hours straight.

Sorry, getting confused between the 2 threads and didnt read all of this one...

Try disconnecting from the PSN.

This was a quick fix in MLB11 with the opening screen until it was patched.

Ok ill try that. As I say I've not seen it today and hadn't until last night.

No. Sometimes I am and sometimes Im not, it just depends on what else is going on in the house with the net.

Right now Im DLing the TW14 demo and playing RTTS and I still have no stuttering or any other issues.

LOL! Maybe!

I have a 3 y/o's 250GB that I keep pretty clean. Only 1 demo, a few DDL games and I delete old files. Although I have like 1000 music files for The Show.
