It depends on what is on TV, if there is a real ball game on I listen to that. If not, I'll listen to The Show and turn the surround up so I can really hear all the cool sounds of the game. It kind of takes me back to my playing days.

Baseballjunkie24 doesn't like my Tapatalk Sig, I was going to delete it but then I realized I don't know him and don't really care what he thinks. Also, this message was sent from the place where I push send.

It was fine at first but got annoying. Do whatever you want though. And don't just tell me to block your page because you've always had good things to say, minus the annoying signature.

Not trying to start any kind of fight, so to the Show. I have a SP in AAA for the Mets. I have a 4-seam, slider, and circle change. What should my other 2 pitches be? I would like some type of fastball with movement and then a breaking pitch that's a little different from the slider.

Curently creating my 6'0 foot 200 pound Center Fielder. Havent really decided if I want to a speedy, stealing bases, and hitting balls in the gaps type of player or a solid, home run hitting guy. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

                  So close!

                  Game 1 of ALDS:
After 8 innings, I allowed 0 runs, and got 9ks. My team is winning 2-0.

First batter of inning, get him out
2nd batter of inning, gets a base hit
                  3rd batter of inning.....HOME RUN!

Luckily the team won the game, but I was 2 outs from CG shutout in playoffs!

For those saying HR/9 attribute doesn't make a difference, I think it does. More than half my runs given up were from home runs so far in RTTS(My HR/9 attribute was between 65-75 for regular season, and after this game, I used most training points to make it go above 80)

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread

Gave up on my right fielder. Decided to do a 5-tool Center fielder named Glenn
Jordan. He is 6'2" 205 lbs. He was drafted by Detroit and will play for the Erie Seawolves to start out. Pretty much tried to make him an all around player to start out. Hopefully when i make it to the majors he can be a 30/30 type player. I bought 7,000 points from the PSN so i have better starting attributes to help reach my 30/30 type player goal by the time i reach the majors. Here are my starting attributes:

                    Overall: 66

                    RT Contact: 60
                    LT Contact: 60
                    LT Power: 40
                    RT Power: 41
                    Bunting Ability: 12
                    Drag Bunting: 12
                    Plate Vision: 33
                    Plate Discipline: 27
                    Clutch: 43
                    Durability: 49
                    Speed: 75
                    Arm Strength: 60
                    Arm Accuracy: 60
                    Reaction: 51
                    Fielding Ability: 52
                    BR Ability: 29
                    BR Aggressiveness: 14

                    Season Goals:

                    .280 or higher batting average
                    20 or more doubles
                    5 or moe triples
                    15 or more homeruns
                    60 or more RBI's
                    15 or more stolen bases

Will update you guys after 1st advancement period.

Re: MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread

                      RTTS GMs suck.

My team NEEDS RP(we only have 3 MLB RP under contract) so what do they do....spend 6M on a SS when we already have Reyes at SS(who's 94 overall)....AND sign a starting RF when they have Bautista already

                      So basically...
                      SS:
                      Reyes-94
                      Andrus-94

                      RF:
                      Bautista-92
                      Markakis-91

TWO of these guys are sitting on the bench(meanwhile, half my MLB bullpen are 70s overall AAA guys).....stupid GM logic. I guess it's another season of having half my games pitched be no decisions..

I eventually will get it up to 70 or so when i start my new RTTS but just make good pitches and you won't give em up i had it maxed out before and i didn't notice much difference

You now have an even more stacked lineup and a even crappy-er (not sure if that's a word) bullpen.

                              Perry Oliver, 20
                              6'5
                              218 pounds

Perry Oliver took the field for a MLB team for the first time this season, and impressed, winning NL Rookie of the Year. Oliver beat out CF Evan Marzilli (DBacks) and RF Mario Parra (Reds) to win the award. The Reds finished the season 95-67, which was enough to clinch the division and earn them a spot in the playoffs. Perry will start game 1 against the DBacks.

I will update the italized parts when I finish the post season. This is my first RTTS... MLB the show post season ever.. im thinking my Reds can do some damage as well.

I would recommend to everybody removing all injuries before seasons end
