With the Indians what would it take to get Mark Trumbo? I'm not entirely sure where i'll use him probably 3rd since I hate Lonnie Chisenhall or maybe give him some reps at Left, or switch in at 1st for Swish and move Swish to DH/RF to give Reynolds rest every now and then. IDK I like Trumbo and with the new acquisitions the Indians have made i'm trying to pay homage to the 90s Indians and not only am I fan of Mark Trumbo but Mark Trumbo looks like Jim Thome's illegitimate child.

Bro.. put that Trumbo photo in a spoiler lol.
Chisenhall + Kazmir/Carrasco/(miscellaneous #5 starter here) would do it. I'm not high on Trumbo."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

That sounds fair I don't have high hopes for Kazmir and Carrasco is dead to me. This also clears space for Bauer who I plan to bring up at the deadline when I ship off either McAllister or Myers.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Wade Davis just went down in my franchise. I needed a starter already anyways. So Ervin Santana is crap. Dont even have him in the majors anymore. Id be willing to trade him, SP Yordano Ventura, RP/CPGreg Holland, SS Orlando Calixite, 2B Johnny Giavotella, and SS Adalberto Mondesi. Looking for an MLB starter. And a reliever if Holland is apart of the trade.Comment

Chisenhall fills a sort-of hole at 3B for the Angels and the SP fills a desperate need (partially).

I can see why your not high in him. He is basically just a solid power guy. His average is above average, WaR and OBP are average or just below such. That's pretty fair. Chisenhall is an A I believe. Just want to make that known...Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!

Chisenhall is a B. I'm an Indians fan and I just don't really care for him. I liked Hanrahan more.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
EDIT: Chisenhall's a B? Then this trade is pretty much perfect.
Trumbo had a BABIP + HR/FB fueled amazing first half last year and then regressed. I don't like the guy too much. He gets on base just fine at ~.345 wOBA but a .327 first half BABIP with a ~3.2 Spd Score and 16% line drive rate is just screaming regression, and, well, he regressed. He's probably good for a .270/.320/.475 line with 20 homers but at first base that's not that valuable, and his fielding is bad enough that it'd offset the conversion to 3B completely. Hell, he may get even worse."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Chisenhall's 24/25 so if he develops at the pace of an A he should peak at a high B/low A which is fine for the intents and purposes of this trade.

I would be willing to do that. But, I cant find him. Not on the Dodgers and i havent accepted a trade with him in it. Its strange. Still in 2013 as well.Comment

Check in FA. Maybe the CPU designated him for assignment, or put him on waivers...Red Sox: 2018 World Series Champions!!!
