30-team control / forced trades doesn't have anything to do with there being a max of 3 slots in a trade. All you have to do is make 2 (or more) separate trades.

For example, and search this thread for more detail since this has been answered 3-4 times already, the OP could send Stanton to SEA for Zunino, Walker, and Hultzen in Trade 1. Then in a separate deal, could send the Marlins' worst prospect/fringe/depth/fake player to SEA for Triunfel in Trade 2.

So the overall deal is Stanton + scrub for Zunino + Walker + Hultzen + Triunfel. Not perfect but best we can do with 3 max slots in a trade.

And, separately, if the OP so chose, he could then use 30-team control to release the throw-in from Seattle's roster, so the "scrub" is ultimately erased from the deal anyway.
Thank you so much I've been searching this thread forever trying to find an answer and that'll probably be what I do.

I feel you're not getting enough for Norris, though it's hard to argue with 2 B pot prospects. It's just I've never heard of them. I also feel the A's probably see Norris as their C of the future, not sure if they deal him for short-term pen help.

Slanted toward Hosmer, but salvageable. Not sure what side you are, but adding Dozier (can he play 2nd?) or Hendriks into the MIN side of things would help. Or you could add in a random high B prospect...Kyle Gibson?

They'd go for John Lamb for Willingham probably, if you're KC.

KC doesn't need Willingham and Willingham probably isn't worth the high B / low A I'm pretty sure Lamb is in OSFM.

I do like the idea of Duffy to KC, though.

Forgot to mention this, but turning "force trades" on makes this workable, since the CPU wont accept scrub for high prospect.

Yeah but if the OP is KC and he wants Willingham...maybe he can add in something extra from the Twins.

Hosmer is not a fit for Minnesota. We already have Morneau playing 1st and we have Mauer, Doumit and Parmelee who can all play 1st.

You're overvaluing Willingham. Great power hitter sure but his defense is subpar. Alex Gordon is by far a better LF and DH is already taken by Billy Butler.

Personally,as a Twins fan, I wouldn't be too hot for the idea of trading Willingham for Duffy. What's his potential?

I got rid of Gordon, and could use the extra power in my lineup.

Also if you made the mistake of not doing 30 team control or force trades, you can go to manage roster and go to the the preferred team. Once there edit the players you want and make their overall awful, just remember to write down what you changed. After go to the trade screen and do the trade. After, edit their overalls back. Just an idea.

                              Decent prospect of some sort.

None of those guys are ANY reason to not go for a potential all star lol.

                              BTW, Duffy's an A.

Do you think trading for Hosmer and DH'ing Morneau (or vice versa) and waiting until Morneau is done to shift Mauer to 1B would be workable?

I agree the 1B/DH situation would be pretty crowded here. Probably a mid-B or high-B pitching prospect would be more useful since the Twins' pitching is dreadful aside from Meyer/Gibson someday.
