Rockies:
SP-Chacin 85 ovr 5-4 3.46
3B Josh Vitters in AAA--A Ovr
1B Vic Buren (drafted) A ovr
Giants
SP- Tim Lincecum 2-8 5.48 ERA
I can also add Mike Olt, but i figured that was getting too much back. But how does that look? Should i consider adding Olt?NFL - Denver Broncos

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
This isnt a question about a specific trade per se, but a general question about the franchise settings.
First, should I be using force trades to get trades involving more than 3 players per team? Im assuming thats how you get them done, just splitting them up into two trades? And should ignore budgets be used also? Id like to keep things as realistic as possible but seem to run into trouble with having both ignore budgets and force trades set to off.

I do not have a specific trade question. I was just curious does everyone trade whenever they want? or do you wait till later in the Season June/July. I have several ideas for trades, but no need to post about it till i enter June/July. I just like waiting till later in the season for trades, I guess to be more realistic.
I want to see what others think of Alexbraun offers, Linceum is someone I want when I get closer to trade deadline. I do not think think the giants have much use for VittersLast edited by Chetballard; 04-22-2013, 02:53 PM.Comment

No need to add Olt. I view it as an overpay already with Lincecum being far from his double CY Young days. Swap Vitters for a low B or something similar insteadFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Might make a move or two in April and May depending on if injury strikes. Nothing major...sort of just to tip toe around the 40 man roster and its limitations.
Then in June when the bottow dwellers and contenders start to show, I usually make up a few players to target and go from thereFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

I'm looking for a hitter to put me over the top. It was an idea. I'm a Rangers fan, and Murph is my favorite player on the team, and I couldn't think of anybody to target. I'm looking for more of a power hitter though. I need someone batting behind Butler. I had Alex Gordon there, but he was swapped for Brett Gardner and Michael Pineda.Mavericks

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I generally make some minor deals during the spring to add some minor league depth. I'm not necessarily trading for prospects in that scenario...more of looking at the depth charts and determine what I need. A slugging 1B...speedy OF'er with good fielding skills etc

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I was trying to play to the "bounce back" factor that some pitchers have, cause who knows if he will bounce back in the game and dominate again thanks to the "change of scenery" excuse. However, thanks for the feedback...kinda a bummer because the Giants wont take anything less for him. Back to the drawing board!NFL - Denver Broncos
