Here you go AC, re: Lineup Protection http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/what-...ion-look-like/
(There are certainly more if you were to search google, I just remember reading this on FG)
As for CarGo, there is definitely a small sample size for his splits this year. There is not an anti-Rockies bias in here (hell, I was estatic to finally see Tulo play in person last weekend) but one month does not trump a trend seen over multiple years.Comment

No, but wouldn't that allow a team such as the Astros to off a player a Yankee-sized contract? It seems as though that would cause somewhat of a lack of realism in the franchise. I'll give it a try, though.Mavericks

Here you go AC, re: Lineup Protection http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/what-...ion-look-like/Now, when people have examined lineup protection in the past, to my knowledge they haven’t uncovered an effect."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

That's true. I was just thinking in terms of troubleshooting if you were to contact SCEA on the subjectFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Sano unlikely to be dealt IRL but if you're gonna try and pry him away...Biddle, Asche and Ruf. Maybe add Roman Quinn as well to get another low tier prospect/major leaguer back along with SanoFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Phillies really don't have enough for Sano unless they traded Lee for young players then flipped them for Sano"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Sano is tearing apart high A right now also. The Twins have themselves a glimmer of hope on the horizon with Sano and Buxton, who is lethal in low-A ball.
Neither of those guys would be traded for any reason if you care even one speck about realism. Even fairness is problematic here. There is no motivation to deal them at all, and there are no position player prospects equivalent to them in the minor leagues. BOTH are already top-50 guys, and BOTH will probably be top-5 prospects in all of baseball heading into 2014.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

The Marlins wouldn't take Hanley back, lol.
Stanton alone, without even accounting for the fact that Fernandez is the best pitching prospect in baseball and Miami won't trade him, would cost you Harvey + Wheeler + another solid prospect.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Not really close, actually. Hanley Ramirez is on the Mets?

Nope, take out Fernandez, Eovaldi and Ramirez and add more pieces with Harvey and Wheeler to fairly get StantonComment
