He's just a replacement level SS lol, you don't need to give up Wandy for him. You're the Pirates, right? Tony Watson? Brock Holt? Some mid C."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Sure, Kinsler could handle LF or RF with his athleticism (though his arm is better suited for LF). He probably wouldn't be a nightmare in CF either, though he'd be well below average there.
As far as trading him, I have to amend something I said before...he has a $5M buyout in 2018, not $8M. Also, I just noticed he signed a contract extension that goes into effect next year...so that takes the realism down a notch...not quite a deal breaker, but wanted to mention it.
Spreadsheet says Kinsler is high B + high B + low B. So, the Cards package is a tad too much...is Rosenthal a low A or high B?
I think Jenkins + Kelly + Piscotty/Maness/Adams would be OK.
That Dodgers trade looks good. I think that would work.
It looks like you might want to move Olt since you are targeting 3B prospects? If so, you could probably package Olt with Kinsler to get more in return. Again, the Cards and Dodgers would be excellent fits for an Olt/Kinsler package.
Rosenthal is a 2 high b's on the spreadsheet (hadn't noticed that before), so yeah I was asking way too much.
Olt's not going anywhere, but after I brought him up he was hitting sub .100 in the MLB, so I put him in AAA, and he struggled there (he was tearing it up before the call-up), so I sent him to AA. He's just been far off from where I hoped he would be at this point, so I kind of like the idea of having another in case I move him in the future due to poor performance.Last edited by LifeOfAHooper27792; 05-09-2013, 08:13 AM.Mavericks

It's June 22nd, and I'm 7.5 out of the wild card. Our bats went cold, but it's really been the fielding errors that's killing me. I'm not out of it completely, but I'm getting close to that point. I blame the Blue Jays. They're 45-22, and swept me twice. I was only 2 out before then.Mavericks

Probably two B's. The Indians would be a good fit and you could probably get Aguilar and RodriguezComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm the Orioles (yes another dynasty) and at the end of April I am in first place, I need to upgrade my 2B Postion and 3 Hole in the lineup. I am not ready to make a trade yet but if my team starts to struggle I want to have a move ready so I can stay in contention so I am considering Chase Utley.
The spreadsheet says 2 High C's but I was wondering if a low-mid B like Delmonico work considering Utley is struggling so far and the Phils look like they will be sellers (Already 8 games out of first)?
Any other suggestions for who I should pursue, mind you I am not trying to sell the farm but I like have Markakis in the 1 or 2 hole and I want someone with a little more power at 3. I really would prefer a rental since they will be cheaper and Schoop will be my second baseman next year.
Note: I traded Roberts to Royals for a 27 D reliever who I cut so that I could clear some budget space (I realize Roberts wasn't making much in-game but I can't hit with and didn't want him batting 9). Also remember I am not making a trade just yet but if I start to struggle (the signs are there: scoring less allowing more) I'd like to have a move ready to make.Comment

You could maybe look at Aaron Hill with Gregorius doing well in real life not sure about your franchise. Daniel Murphy is another option.
