I know I fleeced them. Anyways, how do you add more than three slots to a trade? I wanted to give them 2-3 more A prospects, but I couldn't.
How the heck did Florida get Dahl from Colorado without losing Stanton? lol

fwiw, this gives me an idea....Stanton in Colorado would be MASSIVE Somebody needs to get on that idea for a dynasty 'chise, lol.

    Dahl + Arenado + Chatwood + Story + Parker + Pomeranz + Rutledge + Bettis for Stanton + Nolasco + Morrison

Then deal Cuddyer to replace the massive loss in prospects, and roll with CarGo/Fowler/Stanton in the OF. Toss in Tulo, and dang that would be fun to hit....surprised nobody's on this yet, lol.

They really should. They have the depth to and they need to sell high on him while he still has value. Molina's getting up there and most of TDA's injuries have been plain bad luck.

I'm running with the Rockies. Getting Stanton would be awesome, but I doubt I would do that trade. It would just empty the team of all their prospects, and with CarGo and Tulo signed to pretty expensive deals, that's a lot of money to invest in 3 players.

I'd have no problem dealing Chatwood, Bettis, Story and Dahl for Stanton alone. Adding Parker...hmmm...maybe, if that's considered a deal breaker. But I wouldn't move Pomeranz/Arenado though.

Ok, so the offseason in my Mariners 'chise glitched or something. It refused to let me resign anybody because my roster was full? How could my roster be full if all those contracts had run out? I ended up trashing it, so this time around I went with the Rockies.
The first move I would like to make is to pickup another pitcher (RP or SP doesn't matter to me at this point). How's this:

Cuddyer + Nelson to the Indians for Pestano?

Cuddyer to the Mets for Gee?

All players that need to be resigned remain on your roster until various dates plus any draft picks you sign will be added, putting you over the 90 player max so you have to release players until your back to 90 or less before resigning players...

Is the Doc still worth an A? He'll be regressing to a 70ish player in a year. Would a low B be better value or am I just insane?

What would be some more lasting options for the Royals in Right Field instead of Frenchy?

I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil

Are you looking for a star player, or a cheaper option?

I need an outfielder who is ready to start now for the NY Mets. Who is a player that I could get that is realistic? By realistic I mean there is a good chance he will be traded in real life?

Do you guys think Colby Rasmus fits that profile? If he does what does Toronto need in return?

Cuddyer's not a great fit in CLE. Mets would love him though. Although Cuddyer's a mid C I think on the spreadsheet, he's worth slightly more than that imo, and especially to the Mets. Toss in a mid C prospect along with Gee.

He's starting to turn it around IRL, but some of this depends on how he's doing in your 'chise. I'd say mid A + high B for Halladay is quite generous though at his age. On the other hand, low B is really too low for him. Something along the lines of only a low A, or high B + high B will probably work.

Better question...who wouldn't be a more lasting option? Kidding. But, that pretty much depends on what you're willing to give up. On the one hand you could go as high as Reddick/CarGo/Stanton, or you could go middle of the road with a guy like Michael Saunders, or bargain basement with Scott Hairston or Domonic Brown.

I kind of like the idea of Josh Reddick to KC (assuming the A's are not contending for the World Series, or get a nice, cheap piece in return) since he replaces Frenchy's defense but is younger/cheaper/much better/left-handed. Also at high B + mid B, he's not gonna break the farm to get.

If defense is really important to you in RF, a guy like Schierholtz from the Cubs might be a cost-effective option.

Off the top of my head, you could have:

                              Jacoby Ellsbury
                              Curtis Granderson

Nelson Cruz (if the Rangers are out of it)
                              Gerardo Parra
Dexter Fowler (if you gave back a good return)
                              Domonic Brown
Giancarlo Stanton (if you're willing to give up top prospects)

There's probably more, I just don't have the game on me right now.

Rasmus is only realistic if the Jays choke big time and go into fire sale mode, which wouldn't happen until July, if ever.

And while it's hard to predict that someone WILL get traded IRL, here are some names for you to think about:

                                Alfonso Soriano, Cubs
                                Justin Maxwell, Astros
                                Jeff Francoeur, Royals
                                Justin Ruggiano, Marlins
                                Josh Willingham, Twins
                                Domonic Brown, Phillies
                                Jose Tabata, Pirates
                                Travis Snider, Pirates
                                Will Venable, Padres
                                Chris Denorfia, Padres
                                Jason Bay, Mariners
                                Jason Bourgeois, Rays
                                Matt Joyce, Rays
                                Rajai Davis, Blue Jays
                                Roger Bernadina, Nats
Gary Brown, Giants minor league system

All of the above guys are already available or will likely become so as the season moves along. Some lefty batters, some righty. Some with speed, some with power.
