Just a quick rough idea off the top of my head. Brian McCann and/or Dan Uggla?

    Edit: Crap they don't need a 1B.

I was always a very negative person on Adam Lind but this year is he surprising me thank God. I will stay out of the debate since I may suggest lower than hes worth due to my bias to him lol

Says 2 mid B's on the spreadsheet. I think I dealt him before season started for Cristhian Martinez and Luis Ayals lol so I sold him for what he was worth before he started beasting lol. What about to the Phillies for Utley+a low B ?

I really want McCann lol. Same with Texas, Alfaro would've been nice but Berkman's performing and Moreland... jesus christ, he's hitting like Miguel Cabrera. Lucroy would've been interesting but the Brewers are out of it. Ugh.

Tell me how off base I am here. Garrett Jones is underperforming but the Pirates are out to a blazing start atop the NL Central. Would Russell Martin, who's hitting 8th with a .264 OBP, be a possibility? I absolutely love Russell Martin and would take him in a second.

I don't like Utley's durability enough, honestly. Beltran is playing like crap for the Cards, so maybe Kolten Wong? Hitting .247 in the show.

Martin is a B i would think so you could probably get Martin+a low B. Or you could throw the Lind + JP for Martin and a decent add

I dunno if Cards are a good fit. They have Carpenter, Adams, Craig that can all play 1B

Huh, that would be really intriguing, now that I think about it. Jordy Mercer interests me slightly. So does Kyle McPherson, who's stuck in the pen with a 7.88 ERA. Actually, with 30 team control, he's going down to make room for Liriano, but point is he's expendable for sure.

                I'm just questioning the realism, really. I don't know if I'm off-base.

Carpenter's not a 1B and I was planning on moving Craig to RF. Adams is the only obstacle.

                  They aren't contending though.

I think your fine. You are the Jays GM so you make the call on how real you want for your team. For the Pirates you would have to ask KHarmo, but Im sure they would like JP over Martin for the shear power JP brings. Also if Jones is struggling he could come back in the deal to you or be traded to a different team and Lind would step in at 1B

What I'd do there is move Jones to the bench and DFA Gaby Sanchez. Or, I could put Jones in RF, Snider in LF, send down the struggling Starling Marte, and put Lind in at 1B.

Ya sounds like the Pirates are a decent fit then in your dynasty with those players not up to par. Plus the players your asking for dont seem untouchable, but you may have to fire Kharmo a message

I am now in early July in my franchise, playing every game this season. I am sitting in first place in the AL West. I made the huge mistake of not having force trades on. So to make it simple if this trade is no good, I thank you for your help but thats it. I would restart but not after playing 90 games.

There is not much i can do with force trades on.( As far as trading for Utley) My record is 59-33 but I average exactly at 4 runs at game. I was just trying to bring a bit more pop to my line up. I have the exact roster the current Oakland A's have, no trades done at all to get to my record. I am thinking that maybe I don't need to do any trades, I am in first place AL West 4.5 game ahead of Angels. But just throwing this out there, to get everyones view

                              http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx...ition=1B/DH/OF

Here's how he's playing in real life. That .393 BABIP looks bad, but a much improved LD% (with the plate discipline numbers to boot) and a platoon (slows regression) displays that a .330+ BABIP may be sustainable. He's on an extremely reasonable contract. Showing good power and a nice ability to get on base, obviously.

The defense passes not only the eye test (he's purty out there), but the metric test, he's rocking a 5.6 UZR/150.

What do you guys think? Just basing things off real life, as there haven't been any surprises aside from Wil Myers beasting in my chise, teams that want a 1B: Mets, Brewers, Phillies, Royals, Cardinals, Giants, Athletics.
I like the Brewers option personally.

I think that's too little for Utley. Horst ~ Doolittle, but J. Weeks isn't enough for Utley. Toss them Crisp or Chris Young.

Martin has a .264 OBP, he is a hole. And I'd be giving them Arencibia as well, which would fill that hole.
