I'm changing his value to high C, highest. If I did DET's values, which I'm not sure I did, then I did it at the beginning of the offseason, when I figured he'd be getting an every day role.[/QUOTE]

Wait so did I just hurt Tigers!?!? Ummmmm.....yeah I meant to say B+.......hahaha

    Sorry for the double post...accident!!

He shouldn't have been that high in the first place.

There *is* a quote button, by the way.

I know he shouldn't have....I was just messing.

I used the quote button but not sure how to quote only the part I was responding to so I manually deleted the rest and that's what came out....sorry.

Also who is more likely to get traded, Drew Stubbs or Tony Campana. Want a speedy OF for my mets chise. Both of these players were acquired during the offseason, but they are not highly regarded of.I still like stubbs potential, he just needs to cut down on the K's.
What about Michael Brantley in CLE??? Good speed and decent OF...

Out of curiosity, does anyone think that ARod is 'on the block' if a team were to show interest?

I am looking at making an offer but didn't know if he was considered 'untouchable'.

So I looked at the spread sheet and have 2 questions
                      1. When the value column goes up to 4 does that mean u need to give up those 4 types of prospects to get the player? Sorry if thats unclear

                      2. It says Texas thinks highly of Andrus but if they have Profar waiting don't they have to do something with Andrus?

                      Thanks

I want to trade Rickie Weeks and Corey Hart for some pitching (MLB ready and/or prospects). Rickie is considered two low Bs and Corey is considered one low B. Any ideas? Thanks!

The Rangers could use an OF'er (and 1B depth) so Hart could be sent packing that way...thinking someone like Tanner Scheppers or Justin Grimm in return.

Send Rickie Weeks to the Dodgers for Javy Guerra and some prospect from the lower minors

                            1. Yeah either you pay 4 prospects with the listed value or you can double up on some values. Lets say the list says two low B's...then you could trade one player that's a high B instead of those two low B's. Kinda depends on what you have to offer from your minor league system.

                            2. Not necessarily but if the price is right, they'll trade Andrus. What the sheet refers to though with that comment is that you have to pony up quite a lot to pry him away from the Rangers.

I'd aim for someone like Julio Borbon or Coco Crisp. They're no top tier names but won't cost much at all to require and provide you with good defense, leadoff skills and solid baserunning.

Look at the spreadsheet linked from the first page of this thread for all player values. To acquire a player like CarGo, you'd definitely have to part with Wheeler and D'Arnaud (maybe even Harvey).
