Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Mid C. I'm just kind of thinking Liddi might be a more realistic option. I don't want to trade for Gyorko if he's a ridiculous target. But after looking at it, it might not be possible with their salary limitations.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
He's not a ridiculous target by any means but if the Padres don't get Headley locked up, I don't think they trade him. Personally, of everyone I listed, Gallo and Cowart are my favorite options, but Liddi is very nice as well."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'd be willing to go after Cowart or Gallo. I wouldn't have to worry about salary cap issues, so I think one of those 2 would be nice. Cowart has a higher potential I think (High B compared to Gallo's Mid B?), but I think with Olt and Beltre already in Texas Gallo would be a reasonable target.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'd say he's somewhat ready for a regular role in the majors.
The Halos need pitching depth as you probably know so I'm thinking something along the lines of Cliff Lee to the Angels for Kaleb Cowart and CJ Cron...Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Frandsen
Cesar Hernandez (Mid to low C 2B) / Galvis, but preferably Hernandez
Jake Diekman (B RP)
For either Cowart or GalloComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
The Liddi trade might not work either because of salary limitations. As far as the second one, I guess it just depends on how valuable Cowart could be for my team, but the Angels can't afford Lee anywayComment

Ehh, imo you're gonna have to give up more than that. Would you be open to Rollins for Gallo straight up?"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Would it work if you did a one-for-one swap like the Montero-Pineda deal? Thinking Liddi for Diekman if that's an option for youFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Not really - depends on if either Andrus or Profar is on the DL in your chise
Rollins would love to move home to play in the Bay Area. This is way outside the original box of thinking but Brandon Crawford of the Giants has a solid glove and a great arm. What if Rollins was shipped to AT&T park in a deal for Crawford. You'd then move Crawford to 3B for your PhilliesFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Crap, I meant Cowart, lol. Rollins for Cowart straight up? If you're going Texas.. Halladay would've been a better fit. What's Biddle's potential?

Do they have an old tired reliever you can take on in the deal as well to make the financial aspect of the deal a bit more positive for the Mariners?Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.
