Yeah, and check out his 2010 (last season) stats. He likely has more juice in that arm, unless there was an injury I am failing to remember. Most guys don't ride off into the sunset after a 1.43 ERA 0.865 WHIP and 13.5 K/9 season in nearly 70 IP.

Honestly, the only teams that would take Sanchez at this point are the Astros or MarlinsComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I need yoou guys opinion on another trade. I won't make this trade until around the treadline:
Padres get: Bud Norris
Astros get: Kyle Blanks (low B), Kevin Quakenbush (mid B)
It may be a little too much to get but I can through in Jose Veras if need be.Comment

Like you said, two B's might be a bit too much for Norris but it comes down to their stats upon the point of making the deal. Blanks and Mikolas/Vincent/Brach sounds more fair on paper without looking at stats. Don't really see the Padres asking for Veras in the deal unless they're in contention. Would you have room for Blanks with Chris Carter on the team?Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I highly doubt that the Marlins would take him on. The Astros were another choice. You sure the Indians wouldn't want him over Kazmir?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I don't many teams would take Jonathan Sanchez right now. The Indians should have moe viable option in house to replace Kazmir than trading for SanchezComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Here's updated midseason prospect rankings from BA so if AC/Totte wish to adjust values based on this, well, here it is:
I was predicting Buxton would make #1, but dang that was fast...
The relevance to this thread, you ask?
In general all of these guys on the list are off limits in a trade, with very few exceptions. So, unless you're dealing a Top 20-30 MLB player on a reasonable contract (Stanton/Price/Lee/Cargo for example), don't even waste your time with these names.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment
