This might be a stupid statement but....

I think I will stay with the ps3 version this year and hopefully we will get an official OSFM roster set and the regular slider makers like tnk and others.

I think if you have the new console you have to get it for that. It has to be at least as good as the 3 version and graphically it just has to be better. The key for me is how well the game moves and the players animate.

I'm REALLY hoping that it will also double as the PS4 version

I just got back from GameStop. I traded in '13 and a few other games (got a whopping $6) and reserved '14 for PS3.

I demoed their PS4. FIFA, NHL & NFSR.
Graphics were great but not impressive enough for me to NEED to make the switch "Now".

I expect rosters made on the ps4 then transferred to the ps3 to be better than vice versa graphics wise. At least the ps4 roster will be better if made on the ps4. It will not matter which console the ps3 roster was made on. For example I would not want last years ps3 rosters to originate from the Vita if you take my meaning.

I am sticking with 13 as I am having too much fun and I never buy consoles when they first come out anymore. Did that with PS1 and PS2 and really learned it's not worth it until several years after their release.


It's not the money for me at all……it's the true quality of the games and feeling like it is a true upgrade in terms of gameplay…..not graphics….we know graphics are a given.

Sports games take a few cycles to really hit their stride…much more so than non-sports games.

I will be jealous I can't get into the conversation and all the excitement around here (in regards to 14 for both consoles). I love sharing my passion of The Show just as much as everyone else here.

Well go to GameStop because they have some NHL game there on their PS4 Demo.
Im not much of a Hockey fan but I figured since its there, I might as well check it out.
