I'm sticking with the PS3 version. Don't have a PS4...yet. And I'm betting that a lot of new features that would appeal to me won't be implemented on the first year of the PS4. I can wait.

I for one won't be upgrading to see nicer beards/blades of grass, show me improved ball physics/stat tracking etc etc and you will get my money.

I really really want to want one, but I have not seen anything that justifies me getting one this year. I have way too many ps3 games I have not even played yet. If they would have made the ps4 backward compatible then yes I would have bought one in a heart beat.

Looking at the comparison picks I just don't see a big enough difference. Hell the vita graphics are much worse than the ps3 and I enjoy that version just as much.

Well all the videos and trailers shown this morning makes me not want to rush out for a ps4 anymore.

other than better graphics, there is nothing special about the ps4 version that will make me go out and spend money on it this year.

plus there is no date for the may release just MAY.

now for the month and a half of waiting for this game smh.

I have to think they are going to lose many PS4 version sales this year because of the "May" release date. People who buy baseball games yearly, are not going to wait 1-2 months into the season to pick up a game. So they will buy the PS3 or vita version.

So now lets say you already have the PS3 or vita version and the PS4 version finally comes out say May 15. I cant imagine why you'd preorder it. Many of the people who would have preordered it with excitement already have the game and have been playing it for 6 weeks. So if there are any bugs, they can sit back and just play their other version and not buy what very well may a bug filled new console version. Id hope this wont be the case, but noone expected NBA2K14 or Battlefield 4 to be a bug filled mess either.

I just fear that by waiting, SCEA may have really hurt the PS4 Shows sales badly. My guess is, they'll combat this with some sort of upgrade deal.

Wrong on all accounts. When the PS4 version gets sold in May and people actually SEE the game in action in high def videos - it will sell systems and create a frenzy. PS3 version is now prehistoric. I will gladly wait a month and a half if it takes that long to play baseball 1080p glory!

Yeah nothing released today has changed my mind to buy a ps4 and sadly visually nothing really stood out like wow gotta have it and from what I understand less options then the ps3 version like if no playoff mode I would never buy the ps4 version

Well all my games are only available on the ps3 so I guess Ill wait a year and by then NHL and hopefully all Batman games will be on the ps4 or Library .

But quick count just might save this series for me very exited to try it

The reason you weren't BLOWN away is because they did NOT release a high def video of the PS4 version in action- nor did they post high res pics....the pics they posted do not even do the actual pictures justice. So I would hold out judgment until more HIGH RESOLUTION PICS and HIGH DEFINITION VIDEOS are actually released.
