The reason you weren't BLOWN away is because they did NOT release a high def video of the PS4 version in action- nor did they post high res pics....the pics they posted do not even do the actual pictures justice. So I would hold out judgment until more HIGH RESOLUTION PICS and HIGH DEFINITION VIDEOS are actually released.

Werent you warned to stop trying to cause ps3/ps4 wars in another thread ? This is just my opinion on information released today so if your doubting your ps4 purchase thats your issue but dont bring it here ... as I thought todays info very anti climatic .

There's a chance SCEA might have mislead people with posting the word MAY ...for it might not be the month it comes out but it MAY come to the PS4?


Regardless of how I put your incomprehensive post ... nothing you said above makes any logical sense. THE PS4 VERSION IS COMING OUT IN MAY....It is not a question of if it MAY come out for the system.....wow

Yeah nothing released today has changed my mind to buy a ps4 and sadly visually nothing really stood out like wow gotta have it and from what I understand less options then the ps3 version like if no playoff mode I would never buy the ps4 version

Well all my games are only available on the ps3 so I guess Ill wait a year and by then NHL and hopefully all Batman games will be on the ps4 or Library .

But quick count just might save this series for me very exited to try it

Correct. the news today was a big yawn. Only thing I found out today that was news was the delay of the last gen version.

I read on another site they thought the players on the ps4 should have been redone for the ps4 as they just look like hi def plastic Barbi dolls .
To be honest graphically those screens especially the rip van winkle beard kinda creeps me out and on that retread ps3 player model doesnt blend properly visually for a ps4 game .

They still have time till release but I am waiting until the game is released before buying the NG version. I have faith is SCEA but this is the first effort on the new console so we'll see what we get. I don't expect enough gameplay video to really see how the game looks and moves. Not like I don't have a baseball game to play while I wait.

The PS3 version for me....... Yeah ok buddy!!! PS4 all the way, the wait will kill me , but I can't wait it's only a month .

I'm not a graphics guy....by any means....but I'm going to say the PS4 version is a must for me.
It's going to look that good I think.

With all the talk about how the PS4 version looks all I keep thinking about is if the game feels different at all.

If the game had to be remade I'm guessing it wouldn't be an easy task to perfectly recreate the gameplay of the PS3 engine. I'd hope that there would be some changes (good or bad) to how the game feels. If the animations are different for example that could impact the feel of the game a lot.

Im hoping they offer an upgrade from PS3 to PS4 but I will for sure be waiting on the PS4 version regardless. It will be a thing of beauty!

If they offer the upgrade, I will dive into RTTS and play that for a month on PS3 in hopes of OSFM being near completed when the PS4 version drops, so I can start my franchise.

Cant wait to get my hands on either versions!

I will be getting the ps3 version on release, then maybe upgrade later this summer.


I really really really hope an OSFM roster is done for the ps3 version FIRST, since if those guys wait until the ps4 version, people wont be able to start there franchises until June..

I will be getting the ps3 first then play franchise right away with sony's official rosters until the OSFM rosters then start an official franchise with 30 team control and playing it on the official national tv schedule plus the Yankees and Mets full season schedule.
