One thing that stood out to me was that during the interview, they said that the PS4 version "will have every feature that the PS3 version has".

To me, I thought that sounded a little strange...it should have been said the other way around and I got the impression that the PS4 version is playing "catch-up" to the PS3 version. Understandable, of course, its a new system. Hence the reason for the two seperate dates.

PS4 is playing catch up to the PS3...I just want to thank you sincerely for that laugh.

My thoughts were that with the new system there is a learning curve involved and it'll take a year or so to really show what its capable of.

I just got back from GameStop. I traded in '13 and a few other games (got a whopping $6) and reserved '14 for PS3.

I demoed their PS4. FIFA, NHL & NFSR.
Graphics were great but not impressive enough for me to NEED to make the switch "Now".

This makes me sad. You could have gotten at least $15 for just MLB 13 alone on Craigslist. Why do people continue to get ripped off at Gamestop? Boggles the mind.

Hahha he was playing PS3 games on PS4 controller! Hahaa! I believe he has played no games on PS4 because graphically.., excluding last of us... The games look light years ahead...

Question. Just for me to understand.... The only difference between MLB 14 for PS3 and for PS4 is the better graphics on the PS4, correct? All other new features will be in for both?

Well they have a fact sheet for the games so you might read that first to get idea about what is in both versions.

I'll get both, regardless of whether or not there's an upgrade incentive. I already bought a PS4 without selling my PS3, what's an extra $60 that I can turn around a trade in for $30 in May towards the PS4 version anyway? Worth it to me!

If you look at the fact sheet it will tell you what will be on vita, ps3 or ps4.

Even on Feebay youll still get $47 to $52 in May though it may take at hit this year because of the staggered release , but we shall see

I debated ebay. But just because theyre listed for $15-$20 doesnt mean theyre SELLING for $15-$20.

Ive been an ebay member for 12 years (?) and I could have easily listed my copy and hope it sold for $10, drive to the post office, stood in line and spent $5 on shipping & tracking for a grand total of $5 or $10 if I was lucky enough to sell it plus shipping.

Or I could have gone to GS with my son, looked at other games available, demo the PS4 then trade in The Show for $5 cr there, pre-ordered MLB14 and been done with it in one trip.

I chose GS!

I gave the fact sheet a quick read. I recall seeing alot of " ps4 only" on there. ie new batting stances etc

Thats because the PS4 has more room for it.
Everything that was PS4 only, was graphically related.
