As of right now, I don't think I'll be purchasing 14'. Haven't gotten my money's worth out of 13' yet. Got caught up by school and work and didn't even make it 20 games in to my franchise, so now I'm planning to continue on with that.

I will be sticking with the PS3 version of this game. I'm not going to be victim to a new platform with a new game with all the bugs and errors .

I know what you mean, that 1st year with a new console games tend to have a lot of issues, and even the consoles have some issues as well in the beginning. Considering MLBTS is a sony exclusive they might be ahead of the learning curve of the new console, so I doubt MLBTS has the major issues that NBA2k has had on the NG console this year. Although it is definitely possible that MLB14 will have a few glaring issues on the PS4 this 1st yr, so staying with the PS3 version the 1st yr might be the safest bet. If I had the money though it would definitely be tempting to get the PS4 for The Show, but unfortunately I dont have to have that debate on getting a new console this year, possibly not next yr either with the way things have been going.

Yall may think I am crazy, but I am about to buy a PS3 and just play MLBTS 13 and get 14 when it comes out. I will also import some NPB games as well.

I have debated buying a PS for the last couple of years just for the region free baseball games and The Show. I have been playing Jikkyō Powerful Pro Yakyū on PSP for a little while. Since the earliest chance to play an import baseball game is October, and that is not a guarantee, I'll just go with PS3 for now. Then I might still pick up a XBOX One, or PS4 later this year. We'll see.

Advice offering.... 1) DONT get a Xbox One. There's a reason why PS4 is selling SOOOOO much more than X1 is. 2) If you're gonna buy a new console (especially for the Show) bite the bullet and save a little more and wait the time and buy a PS4 for the Show. It'll be better than the PS3 little brother. And 3) There's a ton of games coming out in the future that'll hold your interest for the PS4, AND games no doubt to be made down the road that'll be awesome that haven't even been announced yet.

PS3 version for me.

Waiting on more games to come out and of course the bugs/glitches/whatever to iron out more for PS4. I love baseball, but MLB13 (played 09 for three years after all) would do if it came to it, plus OOTP, etc.

I normally don't buy a system for just one game, no matter the game. Now if it were backwards compatible like the fat PS3s were - different story.

But it's not, so I wait and will enjoy MLB 14 and maybe MLB 15 if it comes down to it on PS3.

I tried to sneak that vita purchase in a few years ago and that didn't work out well. Big argument that I couldn't really defend even though I had stashed the cash. Just not the right thing to do in a marriage.

OT, looks like ps3 and vita for me this year. Not ready to let my ps3 go just yet.

Hey I appreciate your advice. But I am not as avid a console gamer I once was. I just want the baseball, and PS3 offers more of what I am interested in at the moment. If I do in fact buy a PS3 then that'll hold me over until I decide there is a need for the next gen jump. And I'll make the system determination then.

Right now, I am just wanting to try some Show, and the import baseball games. I don't care or have the time for last of us and uncharted. I am not here to make this a console war, but I have my reasons that I might eventually want a Xboxone. And if things go as planned I will have both. Just can't go out and get em all at once.

Before, I thought that I was going to get the PS3 version and then carry my save over to 15 on PS4, but depending on if I get a second job this summer (which would occupy a lot of time after the 9 to 5), I might just be sticking with 12. I wouldn't really have that much time to play this summer. Plus, I found another way to keep 12 interesting.

Was going to wait a yr to get a PS4 as i usually like to wait for the new system to be out for a yr or two so they can work out all the kinks in the new system. With that being said my PS3 just recently died on me and i can't justify buying another PS3 when there's a better system out there. So I'll be getting 14 and a PS4 in the later part of April.

I will probably be waiting on the ps4 due to currently having a 720P Plasma tv and not a 1080P tv to play it on. im worried that the game wont completely SHINE on 720 as it would in full HD on 1080. So PS3 for me for now...

I have the urge to get a PS4 but I really have no reason to except for better graphics... so this year Im gonna stick with my PS3. I think Ill wait til the holidays to get a PS4...
