I am also a MoM player and I am also curious. But given the lack of chatter from Russell about MLB 14 MoM game play, I am assuming it will be pretty much identical to how MLB 13 worked. I hope the pitcher throwing to 1st base and possibly picking off the occasional base runner has been fixed (in over 220 MLB 13 MoM games not once have my pitchers ever been able to pick off the base runners despite my base runners being routinely caught). I am hoping the hit and run feature has been fixed, I am hoping the always attempt to lay down a bunt regardless of where the ball is in the strike zone during sacrifice bunt attempts is fixed. But I am not holding my breath on any of these issues changing. I highly suspect MLB 14 will do the exact same thing MLB 13 does. However with that said, as much as I would like to see these fixed in MoM, none of them are show stoppers. The game is still fun to play, even with these flaws.

For ps3 I doubt they spent any time on manage mode but for the ps4 considering they wrote new gameplay code it will be interesting to see how it plays. Brian did clean up a lot of issues in mlbts13, removal of countdown clock was a major improvement and cpu managing the user controlled team was removed which was another improvement. I'd be happy if the ps4 version played as good as the ps3 did in mlbts13. Improved graphics with solid gameplay = home run.

But, with some tweaking to the AI this year the best way to test the game and see how it plays it MoM.

For ps3 I doubt they spent any time on manage mode but for the ps4 considering they wrote new gameplay code it will be interesting to see how it plays. I don't think anything was done to MoM this year.
I sent a few of the last fixes to Brian...through Ramone...but I don't know if there was time to address them.
They have/had their hands full.

I wouldn't hold out for Mom just not enough people to play it to warrant resources. Aaron and B Ma are your saviors though.

Will there be custom draft classes in this years franchise mode? Meaning can we edit a prospect's name, height, weight, ratings, potential, etc before he is drafted like on NBA 2k?

As long as it makes it into the ps4 version I'm happy regardless of whether they worked on last year's remaining bugs.

Are people who have the game able to use Stubs yet for RTTS points and such?

If so any idea about the rate at which you earn them while playing the game?

GS put up stubs for sale. pricing seems to be 1000=$1, 6000=$5. Same as RTTS points cost in the past. You can also buy them in bulk to get more of a discount per point.

No, you get an error message if you try to buy or spend stubs. Same thing for leaderboards.

It is funny though when you boot up the game and see the updates are 'Test Update 1' and 'Test Update 2'.

I can't post a video but I'm a pitcher in RttS and no longer can you hit 'L2' to zoom in on the ball and outfielder. It's mostly a guessing game if it's a hard hit ball as to whether it's going to leave the park or not which I guess is more realistic.
