I have Vita, PS3 and PS4. Is it worth it to just wait or pick up Vita version until PS4 drops?

I too bought the digital verison and am having extreme frame drop problems.

Ran into this thread and just signed up to contribute.

I have the cartridge version. Framerate is without a doubt choppy and disturbing to me. Ive played all previous versions on Vita and they were very smooth.

The big problem is when fielding, after a ball gets hit.

I really think they need to fix this with an update, or Im just gonna go back and play my superior Japanese baseball game.

No Tanaka in the game? Even updated live roster, no Tanaka, whats up with that?

Why are some of is not having frame rate issues and others are? Has everyone updated their vitas maybe? I have had no issue at all. I use medium camera on defense pitcher camera for pitching catcher camera for hitting.

Would definitely like some framerate impressions from more people. Really sucks about Tanaka, was looking forward to using him though I guess projecting his stats would be iffy.

Mine is without a doubt updated. Its the fielding where you notice the framerate issues, whenever the ball gets hit its just not smooth like it used to be.

I really think we will get Tanaka, I dont think that would be an issue. Company probably need to catch up with these live roster updates, unless we have another Jordan when it came to games back in the 90's.

Tanaka is not officially a member of the MLBPA until he appears in his first regular season game.

Can anyone advise whether in rtts they have changed the setting to allow commentary instead of just crowd noise I hated that feature in rtts last year and it ruined it for me.. I know it is still quick count only but have they added cut animations, fielding, home runs defensive plays?

Bought the Vita version to hold me over until the PS4 version drops. Thus far have only played RTTS. No issues. Fun as ever. I have played the showcase and the first series. I need to slow down so my guy is still in minors on May 6! Will probably wait for franchise until OSFM rosters drop. Will try a couple exhibition games to see how how pitching feels.

Would recommend getting it if you are like me and gave away or sold your PS3 and waiting for the PS4.

Yup, sold my PS3 a month or so back since I bought a PS4 at launch. Was kind of on the fence about just holding out for the PS4 version, but I think I'll go and pick up a Vita copy tomorrow especially since I can get it for $32 with the Best Buy Gamer Club discount. I really don't think I can go 5 weeks without playing a baseball game.

Strange. I just selected live rosters. Screen goes briefly blank until you get to edit the name of the save and then select a memory spot.
