Got the Anderson for Darrow trade.
I had Darrow in already.
Will they definitely bring up Schafer?....and have him start or will they go with Blanco?

Already have Rowland Smith in the rotation and Morrow as the closer.

Bako gone...check(meaning I got it )...

Excellent info on the Indians.
Any chance they move Sizemore into the 3 hole and have someone else lead off?(so I can make that easier when doing the lineups)

Also...thanks for the Padres move franch1se....almost missed the Ryu move...

Any final moves you guys come up with....post them...they help a lot!

well bobby hasn't been playing blanco much at all...schafer is getting all the starts and PT basically. plus blanco has not impressed while in braves camp so more than likely it's going to be schafer

BINGO! I'm right there with you. I get sick of the "use the search function, search over on page 36 of this 120-page thread" to find your answer. A simple answer would have been nicer than a snide comment.

My comment was not snide in any way. I was making a simple statement. No one answered his question, including Knight, so I decided to reply to his question.

Now, about searching this thread for the answer to when the roster was going to released, he asked that question on page 81 (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2039359018). Knight's answer to this question is located on pages 78, 79 and 80. Here is a list of posts that contain answers:

Cincinnati Reds - RHP Daryl Thompson and OF Norris Hopper to Triple-A Louisville. I believe J. Jones is headed to AAA Louisville as well.

A few days ago D. Ward was released (I'm sure you captured that already though).

Baltimore Orioles - Placed LHP Rich Hill on the 15-day DL. Optioned RHP Jim Miller to Norfolk (IL). Assigned C Matt Wieters to their minor league camp (Norfolk).

Yeah his batting has improved greatly compared to last year, defensivly he started out slow in ST but picked it up.

This morning the Pirates sent Bixler and Andrew McCutchen to Minor league camp (to start in AAA). For McCutchen the move is likely to insure his arbitration clock doesn't start this year (I expect him to be called up later this year, assuming his bunting and baserunning ability improves some).

Yeah I did see that, Wilson wants to stick around (and Sanchez too). Should be a good test for the Pirates ownership to see if they are really commited to winning or not. Since Neal Huntington has taken over I've seen more life in the Pirates than the last 10 years combined.

While I like what I see from the current Pirate FO, I'm not sure signing Wilson and/or Sanchez are in the best interest of the franchise. If they decide to increase the MLB payroll from $50 Mil to 80-90 Mil, then yeah, I'm OK with signing Wilson or Sanchez long term. However, unless they increase their major league payroll significantly, those 2 will not be very good values for the Pirates and will continue some of the mistakes of prior Pirate FO's.

Yeah he went to San Fran from I think Philly/Pittsburgh then San Fran traded him to the Marlins for Harvey Garcia.

Also Ensberg was cut loose by Tampa and Jaque Jones was sent to Louisville by Cincy.

It was really pitcher Hector Correa.

Few more transactions, Trot Nixon was released by the Brewers and Marcus Giles was released by Philly and Cleveland traded LHP Shawn Nottingham to the Pirates in exchange for a player to be named.

I think it will have the glitch problem (someone correct me if I'm wrong) due to the fact that the hard working individuals working on this roster have already completed way too much to start over on the latest update correcting the historical stat problem.
