    '01 Mariners

    '01 D-Backs
    '07 Rockies
    '84 Padres
    '89 Giants
please please please do the 1993 phils or the 1980 phils again other than the 76 team...

As a 25 year old lifelong fan I don't even know the people on the 76 team that were any good that weren't on the 80 team....

But that 93 team would be so great to see recreated with your detail and CAPs.... I really hope you change your mind Knight.

But anyway good luck and I can't wait for the final version!

      Re: Knight - classic teams

Someone asked about some Classic rosters already in the vault.

They are all-time greats, not all-time teams.

They are a mixed bag. Don't know who did them. Lots of greats there, but also a mix of current players that have no place in a classic set, like Doumit on the Pirates, for example.

The quality of the faces is poor at best. Lots of created greats look hispanic and absolutely nothing like they should.

But the stats are great. I am playing a regular season, and all the right people are near the top of the leader boards. I think Gibson, Mathewson, Hubbell and Carlton are in the top ten for ERA and WHIP.

For a long time Mariners fan the 95 team is far more sentimental being that it was our first year in the playoffs and it saved the team from moving to Tampa. I realize this is an awkward request and I don't wanna tell you what to do cause your such a roster saint but imo the 95 M's > 01 M's regardless of winning 116 games.
Agreed...this would be awesome for us M's fans!

I agree also. Even though I am not a mariners fan in the least, this is the team I would like to play with.

Oh, burn! (It almost sounds like an insult the way it's worded.)

Re: the created players, Knight already said that he's making them quickly, and in some cases, he needs to go back and improve the likeness. I don't doubt that the "statributes" (attributes and the stats that result when simming) will be very good. Hopefully the likenesses are there as well.

Well I finally learned how to move saves from my flash device to my PS3, and I just wanted to add to the long line of kudos to Knight. Amazing job. I think I read on this thread someone say that its like playing an entirely different game, and it is. I envy the young folks on here who are going to have so much time to play this game over the summer LOL

Thats me. Even though I am only 15, I love classic baseball. It interests me a lot, and Knight is doing an excellent job at conveying the excitement of the all time greats through the game. And I am going to be playing the show for quite a while this summer.

Speaking of which...today is friday! Update! (Hopefully)

A Knight update? He said he was going to work on the '83 White Sox next. Does the new Sox park have a roof? Not a roof like a dome, but over the outfield seats. They called it a roof when someone would hit a HR over it. If it does maybe Greg Luzinski can hit a few up there like he did back in the old Comiskey

Maybe a stupid question. Are all the classic teams made to date available in one download?

Yes, there's a link in Post #398 (not including any updates added today, if any).

It may be confusing to some because sometimes when Knight releases a couple of new teams, he will just state the teams added to the roster. It's always all previous teams he has released PLUS the new one's.

                                Knight:

Everything looks great - you have un uncanny ability to capture the likenesses.....one correction I would suggest prior to release to the vault - 75 Reds Dan Driessan should be Dan Driessen.

Such a small thing, and not meant as nitpicking (your work is always appreciated)
