Thanks, I will try Lopez, Ya I went and added my own Mattingly, I love the rosters, but I have been trying to replace players who are on two teams,
so i pick a 10 year span, so the 78 yanks i can use any player from 78-88,
other then that i made the 1992 pirates, as VanSlyke grew up 10 min. down the road and I loved that team

Did you download them from a link or from the Vault?
The ones from the Vault(the original Classic Teams) are already saved to your hard drive.
For those you would simply load the roster and then go to play an exhibition game....
For season play....when you start a season you will be prompted as to what rosters you want...DEFAULT-CURRENT-SAVED...you want SAVED....you will then be taken to the hard drive and you will load the set.

Now...if you downloaded them from sendspace(a link I provided)...then you need to unzip the file....transfer it to your hard drive and then you can load them for use.

Just moving this back up(I'm not a "bump" guy...so forgive)....as I had a request for this.
Plus....these are just fun to play with in the game...and I'd hate for guys to miss them.
Nothing like some classic baseball.

I was thinking about bumping this myself...

I love these rosters, and i was thinking about that one post of mine, where i asked if you could make even older rosters, and thought that i might try making them myself.

I made a pretty good looking Josh Gibson, and put him on Pittsburgh (although he doesn't belong there). Too bad i forgot to save the roster...

They are addicting once you start.
I love creating a "new"(old) team and then taking them onto the field. I REALLY hope we get a couple of real classic stadiums to play in this year. Even a couple would do it. Playing the '55 Dodgers vs. the '51 Giants in Ebbets would be unbelievable.

thank you very much for making old time rosters
i've alway's love baseball for the game, i like playing with old rosters and
i use the practice stadium so i dont have all the flashes from th hype
i like it when yoou can almost smell the grass, taste the hot dogs
and keep away from ego's and flashing lights and all the the stuff of today
that puts the focus off the game already these rosters have me wasting
lots and lots of time even though i only play exhibition i concentrate on ten teams, i love the 60's cards unfortunatly it is the 76 sox, the list enumerates
67 sox and 61 yanks but i guess that was changed from the beginning if i'm write
if you ever make other roster please let us know you made a very happy man in
montreal playing with the 80's expos again

If I'm understanding you correctly....
Yes...the '61 Yankees were the first team I changed.
Right now it's the '75 Red Sox, but it will be the '60's team. The one list is what the set will be....the other is what the set is currently.
As I've been transforming it from one to the other....I've been trying to keep the teams as grouped as possible...getting "rid" of the 80's teams first. The only reason I did the '61 Yanks into the '77 Yanks first was for capa. He's a Yankee fan and this was his request.

as it is but the 60's where unique. Please let us know
when you do some work, i've seen lots of interesting demand for
2010,.,.and your teams would fit right in with some of people
demands, imagine 12 teams 2 leagues all the best of the 60's

0 is the name of the file for 61 yankees but they are mostly 90 ish team 61 yankees should be with 50 70s and 998 yankees
with classic 30 what do uou think
50 69 70 80 more player more teams in those days
80 00 should be the third one

but this is already great the mvp mods have best of 80 90
and 79 80 best of ,.,. i'm just saying that for personnal taste
i'll play wathever you give me alltime team is also a good perspective
